Warband loading screen: choice of character poses

Honestly I don’t play them and do not know if the Forsaken can even have children at all among themselves. But why does it matter? Not all couples want children, or can have them. They could always adopt a war orphan, we see a lot of them in the major cities.

To me it seems your objections go totally beyond the scope of a hypothetical selection of pre-approved character poses (holding hands? Hugging?) on a loading screen that may indulge a player’s fantasy of having a few characters being tied together by something more than battle comradeship.

You are free to dislike / not care for RPG, but it is a fundamental part of a MMO-RPG game and we’re talking of something less impactful to YOUR experience than all the silly transmogs and toys available, as you’re never going to see their loading screens.

Depends on what pre-approved choices Blizzard gives us I suppose, if they give us anything at all I somehow doubt they will be NSFW though. But even if you hack it, no problem, your loading screen after all. :joy:

Problem with people demands are they never talk about limitation.

I dont want see players having “relation ship” between animals and humanoid or humanoid and undeads just for the “lol”

You as RPer see a potentiel improviving of your RP

Many weird player see potential lol content to make zoo__ilia relationship between a panda and a human or a elf and a tauren or necro__ilia between forsaken and others races.

Lucliky you would have to be willing to hack into someone else computer’s to see if on their loading screen there are “wrong” races hugging or holding hands, and somehow I doubt anyone would go such trouble just to be disgusted.

But now you put it like this, I do wonder if you shouldn’t play a safer MMO-RPG game where only humans are allowed, so you would not risk being exposed to whole canon quest-lines about relationships between humans and elves or gnomes and goblins.

I can rationally understand your feelings, but I am sorry to say that to me it feels like they may be slightly misplaced in a simple videogame that as canon base has “races” that are meant to be just people of different kinds who eventually learn to know each other and band up together to fight together, letting go of their prejudice based on appearance and past events.

If your imagination is too weak to establish your own character relations without having it written verbatim in-game, then what are you even doing?

I am sorry, but I fail to see any place where I have said that I don’t have already established it and I cannot keep playing my characters the way I want them without it being written.

I just said it would be nice to have it displayed, since we are getting warbands and the devs are even talking about having a choice of login screen scenes down the line.

“Character poses” could be collectables just like transmogs and pets are.

But thanks for the post bump, every answer helps me making my point more clear and gain visibility!
