Warbands and camps

For some reason this is the thing that gets me most hyped, maybe I missed it but…
How many Characters can you have in a camp?
How many Camps can you have?
As I have… Alot of characters…

Please let my alts fight over who gets to use the only bedroll. When i start up WoW i want to see a loading screen with a full out brawl from bored alts.

I’ve not seen a number yet but there were four on the demo

The camp appears to just be like a sample of your characters. 4 in camp but all characters on all realms can be part of that 4.

4 would make sense for Plate, Mail, Leather and Cloth.
and finally no realm switching anymore.

i have two guilds on different servers. one horde one alliance. i hope i can combine them and finally dont need to change servers anymore.

sure, but can we have more than one camp?
Lets say I want my Rogue, Pala, Hunter and Mage in one camp as they are all Belves
Then My Warrior, DK, Warloc In another camp as they are all Forsaken.
Then My Druid and shaman in a third camp as they are my Tauren Broes!

You know as much as anyone else at the moment until, hopefully, next week.

Looks like 4.

Looks like 1.

But who knows… All subject to change, I guess?

The Warband is literally just a log in screen to see your favourite characters as far as I’m aware.

Every single one of your characters is part of the warband (even the ones not showing up on the screen/warbands). As said yesterday, Warbands name is just an umbrella term for a lot of stuff that’s going to be account wide.

I’m so going to make a team of thematic fortune hunters!

Yeah, I was confused at first by not being a native English speaker, and somehow ended up thinking warbands was a way to go on delve adventures with your own alts to level them while they were controlled by AI.

My brain made of dum dum made me super happy and then disappointed when I actually understood it.

Aye. Much more impactful to announce a feature called “Warbands” than just say “hey, some more stuff is going to be account wide now”.

It really is funny to me how sold people are on this, just so happy. We have been asking for this for a decade. 10 years. Let us share at least reputation so we could play our damned alts and still progress. These features should have been added a long time ago. At least some of them.

as stated in the presentation, the wow building blocks were blocking it.

I’m not sure how much I buy this reasoning. The example Ion gave of sharing currencies by having to purchase a box of the same currency and send it to an alt seems a bit dishonest - why was there a tax then? If the box was working around old code, why did they charge for it?

If its a lot i would like to request a screenshot of all yours paladins sat on the screen.

to encourage playing on the actual alt.

I really doubt that. If they wanted to do it they would have done it under some form or another. I’m more inclined to believe they didn’t bother with it because it was convenient for them to let you grind with alts and keep you playing.

This wowhead article with blue post seems to think all alts

EXPAND THE POTENTIAL OF YOUR ALTS – With Warbands, players can enjoy account-wide progression with all characters in their Battle.net® account, regardless of faction, that includes shared War Within™ renown, a warband bank, achievements, and more! Additionally, a new change to transmog collection will let players learn the appearance of any gear type, even if they cannot equip it!

What I’m worried about… will I be able to “ninja” an item from a raid to give it to my alt in a warband afterwards?
