Warbands and Quest syncing between Characters

I’ve been following the Warbands features and everything looks amazing so far.
If I could request just one more feature it would be full quest syncing between the main 4 Warband characters.

What I mean by that is the ability to (if you wish) continue questing exactly where you left off using any of your characters, having a linear questing experience regardless of which character you’re playing if you wish to do so.

I’m the kind of player that “doesn’t have alts” I have three mains and they’re they only characters I play (And I’m sure a lot of people out there play the same way) and although the abilities to skip some storyline quests are a huge step forward, to just be able to have a streamlined questing experience across different characters would be amazing.

(With the ability to retroactively repeat completed quests in eligible Characters if you feel like redoing particular quests on particular characters for the fun or for the rewards)

I hope my wording isn’t very confusing

My concern with Warbands, questing and renown is that I fear being more-or-less forced into doing all the quests on one character again like I was in DF.
I would have preferred doing the side quests on my alts instead of the main campaign over again. But these side quests gave so much rep and renown gated so many things that I ended up doing all the side quests simply for the rep.

These side quests should either have no rep or be a separate side rep that you earn only through these side quests and dailies or WQs.

In DF you did the campaign which got you to renown 8 or 10 with the Centaurs.
Then I could either do all those side quests on an alt and get the alt to renown 8 maybe or I could just do them on my main and get that to Renown 16 or 18 or whatever.

Will it be the same in TWW?

I hope it will be different (Warbound rep)
This plus quest syncing would truly free people to play as they wish, what they wish.

Do the side quests on alts reps the same to the same total in war within

I don’t think so.

Every character earns its own rep but everyone gets the benefit of whoever has the highest rep, from what I’ve seen.

So your Main does the Story Campaign and is Renown 8 with Faction X.
There are loads of side quests that give 6 more renown.

If your main did the side quests all your characters who be Renown 14 in a de facto way although most are really renown 0.
If yoiur alt did the side quests then your main is still renown 8, your alt is renown 6 although all characters are renown 8 de facto.

Or have they changed something with rep and renown?

Since years ago Blizzard had a system that would allow players to be able to both replay and skip quests called Party Sync. But unfortunaly, Blizzard insists in not let us have solo Party Sync. A very powerfull system that is underuse.

I understand it the same. Your main should be the work horse getting all the quests and renown as fast as possible and even some warband gear for those alts. The alts are the donkeys’ and will just reap the benefit of all you have done on the main.

If you do half and half then there is no benefit.

However the way I understand TWW and quests - if you done all the quests and campaign on your main it is optional for you alts. You do not have to repeat nor see them and get just delv level or solo dungeon level or which ever way you want. You do still have the option to repeat the campaign and quests if you so wish.

Personally I don’t see the benefit of questing on one character and then picking up where you left off on another. Seems a bit messy and may even get you lost. Unless I am not seeing what others are it’s pointless.

A warband feature that would be a super plus is if you level one character all alts auto reach the same level rather than rinse and repeat. That way all your alts are endgame ready at the same time as your main and all you need to focus on is gear.
