Warbands are just bad

Oh that is interesting!

Handy tip. I also thought it would be on the last char you were on but wasn’t sure. Been a while since I had a d/c. Give it time and I will tho!

thanks for the info.

the OP asked for that feature to stay up until you click it down again would not be a hard thing to code.

Really

We’re supposedly getting more Warband screens to choose from in the future, so I’ll hold off on judging the one we have at the moment. Lost Ark has a similar setup which is likely what inspired it.

As for the Warband system itself, I appreciate it but I really want everything to be added to the system over time. If someone takes the time to grind out a reputation at least once then it really should just be available on every character as far as I am concerned.

what is it added to then if you grind rep? isn’t the fav screen just a feature that is featureless?

I have two questions so far: Why do we only get 4 members for it? Wasn’t it 5? (possible that I’m retarded and remember wrong) and why does it looks like a reused character creation screen from Diablo 2?

Or even just choose a zone

Same, hope all the old reputations become acc wide at some point, and crafting reagents like blood of sargeras.

Isnt this the plan bar maybe scryers etc

I hope so, missing so many crafting recipes on alts that require reputation.

Hope they’ll make Profession recipes account wide, and you can learn recipes to add to it regardless if you got the profession like how you can add other armor types.

I’ve had Alchemy and Enchant on this character, with a lot of rare recipes, since TBC… be nice to change professions without worrying about those recipes.

Ooh yes please!!!

Make mining skinning herbalism fishing cooking account wide so alts and main can pick 2 crafting professions instead.

i just don’t get why those are 1 alt only professions they are boring plain

Op’s first two sentences prevent me from taking him seriously at all, and more so reading the rest of his post.

Hyperbole does you no good.

I like the character screen, reminds me of the good old days of Diablo 2 screen and early 2000s.

Adds nothing? It adds a ton of quality of life improvements.

Buggy? Maybe, so what? Bugs get fixed and it will deliver value, doesn’t mean that the concept is bad just because there are bugs presently.

You get an account bank, rep and achievements are account wide (i now have my m+ teleports on all characters) and i can transfer currencies.
Yes, the camp is unnecessary. I would rather it was an actual instance inside the game with crafting stations. But, then that would be the start of housing eh? Maybe we’ll get there.

Wish you could see all the ilvls on the character sheet…would make it easier to see which ones I need to gear first!

That is alot of work for what essentially just a glorified character screen.

So i doubt they would waste time with making it appear more lively.

However they did waste time making it in the first place so who knows :man_shrugging:

I think people may be focusing on the wrong aspects of Warbands here. The main talking point here has been the character screen. Seriously, how long are people spending sat on that screen? That is a small part of the feature.

I haven’t been playing much recently so not seen the bank, I’m sure it probably looks ugly though and could be improved.

But the quest and rep progression being shared is massive. Collecting transmogs for other classes is also amazing. I’m sure there are other things that I haven’t thought of but those are the main attractions for me.

There are addons for that too if you were interested in a non char selection screen fix.

Are there? I had a look but couldn’t find any!
