Maybe I’m missing something here but, ever since the warbands change, all my characters are jumbled up completely randomly.
Characters that were on a specific realm are jumbled with all my other characters, and they’re a nightmare to find. There doesn’t seem to be a way to filter them by realm.
I would like it if you had the option to keep your realms in a tab - like how you have the ‘Favourites’ tab - you could minimize certain realms or just navigate to that realm. E.g. Like the ‘Favourites’ You’d have a tab underneath called ‘Outland (10)’, Outland being the realm, and the 10 being the amount of characters on that realm. Then you could drag and drop your entire realm lists rather than 1 character at a time. So you could order your character list within the tabs as well. Maybe you could create your own tabs and drag and drop characters into them, so its not specific to realm. So you have your favourites, your level 70s, your leveling characters, etc.
Also, if there was a character search function at the top, and you start typing the name and it filters to that. E.g. if I had a character call Noodle, I could type ‘No’ and it would only show Noodle, or any other characters beginning with ‘No’.
I hope this makes sense. Its just my character list is a complete mess at the moment. I had realms with Horde and realms with Alliance, and they were all ordered in highest level top to bottom, but now they’re just jumbled all over the place. Feels messy, even if I sorted them all out, scrolling down a long list to find 1 character that’s not in my favourite 4 is a little irritating.
Yes, this first version is a bit of a mess.
Having more viewable info on their cards without needing to hover over would be good, ilvl, realm, location so we can sort our farmers out better.
Maybe even a notation function so we can put reminders or timers on each one.
Still early days with it all so hopefully future improvements go the right way
This, exactly this. Why can i sort by location, but not server ? This feels rushed and not properly thought out. Many of us play on different realms with multiple characters. I look at my character list and i get overwhelmed trying to figure out which character was where and then i just want to go do something else instead of logging in…
I am not finding it an issue myself and have my own listing system but I appreciate others do not. Any categories would ofc be beneficial to all. I do think they’ll come in time.
There is a search bar in case you hadn’t noticed too in the mean time.
The funny thing is if you try to search by realm it does not show anything. You can either search by name, by profession, by level, by class and by the location where your characters are logged out.
Yeah, this is very time consuming, and I’m still not happy with the one long list. I have OCD so what seems like a small thing for most people is a nightmare for me
For me, putting the characters in tabs to their realms would’ve been my first rational thought. Even if it was just a tick box at the side to enable the realm tabs, or to merge all of your characters together.
I’m kind of sold on the idea of being able to create your own tabs for sorting though, rather than by realm. I would just like more sorting options.
