Blizzard, please make it such that learnt recipes become account wide so characters can change professions without worrying about all their rare and no longer attainable recipes disappearing.
Also allow the player to learn and add recipes to their repertoire even if it ain’t their profession, they’d still have a skill requirement to craft for those with the profession.
Additionally have a system similar to Work Orders so alts can make use of BoPs.
I think Fishing and Cooking should be flat-out Account Wide now.
And I agree with your suggestion that learning recipes should be Account Wide.
In fact I should be able to learn a recipe on any character at any level but only be able to use that recipe if I’ve trained up the skill sufficiently.
If I run Dragon Soul on my alt and a Blacksmithing recipe drops but I don’t have any Blacksmithing I should still be able to just learn that recipe. My Blacksmithing character can then make that item since they did cata blacksmithing years ago.
I have too many recipes in my bags of DF recipes that dropped while I was leveling in DF but I’ve not done my professions yet so the Req Skill X is redded out and so it is just taking up bag space (or bank space) until I can be bothered to get into this convoluted mess of DF professions.
Being an avid collector I’ve learnt like 95% of all possible recipes for Alchemy, Enchanting and Cooking, no way in hell would I ever drop those professions since a LOT of the recipes were pretty rare and really expensive off the AH or are no longer available. 
They must made some system, probably similar to work orders, so you can use any of your alt’s professions without switching characters.
Being able to select another character in your warband with a desired profession, select a recipe and create it using the materials. Without requiring us to send items throught mail/bank nor switching characters.
Probably this will be easier if recipes were account wide.
I dont think professions should be acc wide because u can always craft something and send on char u want but mats should be acc wide. Game have some mats that r bop and making is acc wide would resolve problem.
Yep, I think (hope) this will be a future feature… It should be from my point of view, unlocked recipes should definitely be account wide. I’m pretty sure they will fix it at some point, just like they finally came with the warbind system, which was just a matter of time too. Fishing, Cooking and Archaeology should be 100% accound-wide imho.
