Warbands updating your account

Hi, I just got TWW but it wont let me log into the game. Every time I try it says Warbands is updating my account. Then I get the error msg WOW51900319.

Am not sure if this a bug or not or its time dependant, but I been unable to log in for about 50 mins.

Same here, Just re-subscribed to the game, can’t log in. Not a good look at all.

As far as I’m able to find, that’s a generic disconnected code but it happens after the “Your account is being updated for the Warbands feature. Please wait.” Message. Up to a great start XD

A description of the issue you are having.

As described - I get past the login page, I receive the message “Updating your account for warbands” and then disconnect.

Sequence:

  • Click World of Warcraft from favourites and hit ‘launch’
  • Account logs in, a message about my account being updated for Warbands is displayed.
  • Receive You have been disconnected from the server. WOW51900319 error

Attempts to fix:

  • just bought the expansion and re-upped my sub
  • updated Windows 11
  • updated nvidia drivers (to 560.94)
  • I uninstalled and reinstalled wow with the same problem

Hello,

I had written a detailed post explaining this error and the troubleshooting steps I had undertaken in order to solve it, but it appears to have vanished while I was trying to include more information about this issue using quick edits.

Error happened as follows:

  1. Buy and install TWW from my account, activate subscription.
  2. Launch WoW from Battle.net launcher (same behaviour encountered from WoW → Play, and the FAVORITES shortcut)
  3. Account logs in, a message about my account being updated for Warbands is displayed.
  4. Before character / realm list is visible, I am sent back to the login screen where error WOW51900319 is displayed.

To summarize what I did afterwards, I followed the steps outlined in the WOW51900319 support article:

I have reinstalled WoW, followed by restarting my computer, after which I optimized my internet connection and reset the UI following the steps contained in the World of Warcraft Technical Troubleshooting resource, under the Connection category. Same error encountered.

After this, I followed the steps outlined in the IP Release, Renew, and Flush DNS support article, turned off my modem for 10 seconds and turned it on back again. Same error encountered after each one of these steps.

I’m playing from the EU realms (Zul’jin to be specific, although I am unable to see my character list nor select a server), in Spain, ISP is Movistar, using a GTX1060 GPU.

As of now, I am able to play Warcraft 3 Multiplayer Custom Maps, but WoW is not currently playable. Seeing as all the topics I’ve been able to found describing this issue are recent, my current hypothesis is that this may be a transient issue. Please, feel free to reach out if there are any further tests I could perform to diagnose this.

Same issue for me as well. Saw the “updating warbands” part for like 0,2 seconds a few times, but it generally just gives me the same error. Cannot get in. Send a ticket, see whats-up, but no WoW before work today.

Guess we all have the same issue
 i sent a ticket already a couple hours ago with no reply yet.
The message I get after log in screen, is a load bar saying: “your account is being updated for warbands feature”
and then i automatically get a disconnect error 51900319.
Ive reset all my internet preferences reinstalled wow completely and deleted all addons. Redone IPS, DNS, all that stuff
 all my drivers are fully updated.
I also tried logging via a different network and still the same error

Is there anyone encountering this issue who did not re-suscribe and/or purchase TWW recently? This seems to be the only commonality I can gather from this thread.

Weekly maintenance is near, I hope we’ll be able to play by then ^^ have a nice day y’all!

I haven’t purchased a sub but I did pre purchase the TWW last expansion.

Haven’t had chance to play yet so I did try log on today just to see my characters before subbing and I’m having the same issue as everyone else.

I have raised a ticket.
