Did you find some too?
Fel green Crystal on high elven buildings.
Fel green eyed high elves.
Will the lore be butchered by applying blindly the retcons of tBC to WIII?
Or am I too pessimistic and these are Blood Elf buildings and BE models only?

I just checked and in fact in Frozen Throne expansion all elves had green/yellowish-green eyes already and black/red/gold armours. There was no explanation as to why other than it was caused by their mana hunger.
Fun fact: even back than Blizzard made the same mistake they make today in WoW whenever they slap different colour on a model - elves had green eyes but the particle effect of their eyeâs glow was still blue which looked silly. Just like whenever they change colour of an armour set which have some fancy burning shoulders from let say blue to orange but leave flameâs colour the same which (Just check any DK set). Am I only one who gets super bothered by this?
They could just be green decorative crystals, without any fel magic inside of them, High Elves liked the colour green alongside blue before they changed blue to red when they became Blood Elves.
That would also explain the lore reason about most Blood Elves who stayed in Quelâthalas were unaware that the Magisters from Outland had brought fel magic and put it in green crystals in order to power the buildings of Quelâthalas and rebuild SilvermoonâŠsince those crystals were always green anyway, nobody would notice that they would contain fel magic now
And the High Elves had eyes of many different colours actually, if they have green eyes, itâs natural like the ones of Alleria once, not because of fel magic.
I donât get how the blood elves could be portrayed with green eyes in WC3 when Kaelâs goons only brought Fel after the events of the frozen throne.
Another discrepancy seems to be the attendance of gnomes.

Not exactly lore-breaking, since there might be some gnomes that came with their tech to support the war, but since there was a perfectly reasonable explanation towards why gnomes were originally not part of the Third War, it seems kind of unnecessary.
They probably chose to make their eyes green in order to make the distinction between High Elves and Blood Elves more clear to everyone, as if the change of colour of their clothes wasnât enough
also most Blood Elves would change their eyes just for the fact of being in Outland, actuallyâŠno need to directly siphoning fel from demons, just being in a place full of fel magic will passively penetrate the elves anyway.
The pilot of the gyrocopter was supposed to be a Dwarf in the original Warcraft 3, although bad graphic made him look like a Gnome
but yeah, I guess Blizzard decided to make Gnomes more involved in the 3rd War after all
Yes, otherwise it wouldnât be a discrepancy.
True, itâs probably an oversight on their part, or they wanted to make the SinâDorei distinct from their Quelâdorei brethren to drive home the point that they are no longer the people they once were, but couldnât be assed with minor details such as the eyesâŠ
Addendum:
As for those things such as the Gnome pilot, I recall(But Iâm unsure) the developers stating somewhere that the Original WC3 storylines would be rewritten to make more sense going into and tying into World of Warcraft lore.
Sort of like a postcon covering the tracks for all the retcons that came with WoW.
They just said they wonât change the story.
Finally we may get #NoRetcon from the (filthy) Retail and (even more filthy) Expanded Universe lore
I still wonder how theyâll manage the thing while quite some models seem to be retconned already. For instance Akama whose model links the W3 native Draenei and the BC light-eredar Draenei (hopefully this doesnât change much in the story but will it be the case elsewhere?âŠ)
So the matter are the retroactive visual continuity here.
You all know, when placeholders are at stake and models change without any explanation in the story - like when Gallywix model is replaced by a fat Goblin who he ââwas always meant to beââ (to match his artwork on loadscreens) or like when one could never guess before (Volâjin with a beardâŠ)
I hope the green fire imbued high elven models (OP) are just intended for Blood Elves so. Or still work in progress.
Look, a fellow French-forum guy found this from the game files:

The sunwell is still in its old LD model state, so they havenât addressed its case yet.
So I guess the studio team is at odds nervously on the matter.
Like « According to the WoW fans the Sunwell should be blue because they think it is arcane, maybe we should change that to make it match the new lor-
-Shut up Bob, who cares about the fanlore, the Sunwell was always golden (no pun intended) so we have it golden in Reforged.
-B-B-But there are one or two fans (1) who explain it is a proof that the Well is Holy, like, Light-imbued yâknowâŠ
-So what?
-Er⊠actually we already canonized a short novel about Lorâthemar written by a fan based on fanlore which hints that the well was Arcane and not Holy at that timeâŠ
-Ho shâ- âŠyou helpless incompetents! Well letâs get out of all this mess and discuss it later, donât work on the sunwell model until then. »
(1)yes Iâm one of them (alctually the Sunwell was already arcane/holy as a mystical fount, but wowpedia screwed everyoneâs mind, gg)
thatâs not a good thing they cut out the sunwell fight thanks to the none retcon crowd thanks for ruining reforged iâm glad i didnât order it
Shandris has different tattoos in Warcraft 3 than in WoW =)
