That being said, I vastly prefer the lore of the game, instead of the book. I really like the way the game portrayed Warcraft, edgy, grim and dark.
The game was canceled and was never canon.
Do you think it would have been a positive contribution to the lore if it were canon?
Well Kargath and Kilrogg are still alive in the game. So that was wasted potential. Also like the WC2 ending suggested the actual Shattered Hand Clan was present instead of being left behind on Outland.
