Same, up near Kruger (no lions in the streets at least, although we had a leopard sighting near town a few years back)

Technically true, Svalbard does get that, yes. As for everyone knowing, not so much. Knowledge of its existence is rather limited outside Scandinavia in my experience. Though I suspect you didn’t mean for the wording to be taken that litterally

What a coincidence I’m from the city where he lived whilst writing at least some of the LOTR/The Hobbit and legend says that he was inspired by the landscape for middle earth he was a professor at the university.
