I see your Dalaran and raise you Stonard: NO portals to faction capital cities, NO convenient flight paths if you havenāt been there, NO easy way back if you donāt have HS available or your own teleport. Which undesirables used to not have. Ah, good times. (At least for Horde - Theramore wasnāt such a total backwater in the middle of nowhere

A friend remarked on my supposed āluckā in getting the mount in ājustā 4 months of farming, about 70-80 attempts in total counting alts before the thing dropped.

Ancient Dalaran, itās in a completely different zone where Dalaran used to beā¦ as it is no longer there, you port inā¦ in midair and fall to your death unless you have an ability to counter the drop

Is it Dalaran Crater in Alterac? Been ported there in some quests, every time the place was littered with skeletons, always wondered why as there was no obvious enemies etc, thought it was some rp ritual suicide thing or just spooky decor to psych players out.
Horrible writing, allied races timegating, unintuitive rng upgrades: just 3 drops in the ocean of bad, lolworthy stuff found in BFA.

Yeah.
Mages can loot that in Scarlet Halls and then buy the portal spell in Dalaran (requires level 90).
It basically teleports you to where dalaran used to be, which is pretty up high compared to the crater left in there.
Iām pretty sure there was a portal from Dalaran to the same spot during Legion. Itās still given to Paladins at the beginning of their class hall campaign (they can bubble).
