I see your Dalaran and raise you Stonard: NO portals to faction capital cities, NO convenient flight paths if you haven’t been there, NO easy way back if you don’t have HS available or your own teleport. Which undesirables used to not have. Ah, good times. (At least for Horde - Theramore wasn’t such a total backwater in the middle of nowhere )

A friend remarked on my supposed “luck” in getting the mount in “just” 4 months of farming, about 70-80 attempts in total counting alts before the thing dropped.
