Warcraft Movie - WoW Cinematics Style

Heya,

After seeing through the WoW Cinematics for a while, I thought…why not make a movie like that? Granted the frist Warcraft Movie was quite good but still missing something if you ask me. Thats why I started a petition so Blizzard may think about doing another Movie, this time in the same style as the WoW Cinematics.

Wouldn’t that be ludicrously expensive though?

Always heard it told that the only reason Blizzard can have that insane level of detail in their cinematics is because they are short…

Well yeah they are definitly costly but they are mostly time consuming to do. You will never have this level of detail if you will have to create 2h movie and have like 2y to make it. 1 wow cinematic can easly take 8 months of work and thats 6 minut video.

Yes that can work I can imagine it being like the viking series because warcraft lore is so rich and plentiful,I can imagine 10 seasons of the series and I would honestly watch that every day.Like the story goes from titan creation of the world to war of the ancients all the way to first, second and third war up to current events thus 10 seasons.

Modern WoW Orcs are ridiculosly over-muscular and Hulk-like. I prefer more WC 1 & 2 because they werent fully cartooned and didnt look like mutants.

It was always my opinion that the Warcraft movie released should have been made just like the cinematics to give the viewers a more authentic experience.

Or they should have made wow into a series or animated series perhaps.

I would love for them to make their own series. Im not sure it will ever happen but im sure it would be very popular.

Not going to sign the petition I’m afraid as A its in German and B it will fall on deaf ears.

But totally agree, a cinematic style movie or TV series would be absolutely epic
