Have you got your Warglaives of Azzinoth transmog yet?
( If you have equipped them both and then defeat Illidan in TW Black Temple u can transmog them)

I havent got them both yet but hopefully before next week!

These blades belong to Illidan Stormrage in the TBC raid Black Temple. He got them from a demon called Azzinoth who entered Azeroth in the War of the Ancients 10,000 years ago. Well, probably it occurs to you how he got them, surely not by asking him politely. Ever since, they are his trusted weapons and you can have them if you start farming him with the patience they deserve. Here are some facts and wisdoms about them collected over the years:

• The weapon set is of two weapons. A main hand and an offhand. Warglaive of Azzinoth Warglaive of Azzinoth

• Surely, they can drop fast or have your mind destroyed for the low price of 5% drop chance

• As of Legion expansion they are usable by Warrior, Rogue, Death Knight, Monk, Demon Hunter

• Equipping them both together awards Warglaives of Azzinoth which is a feat of strength

• From 7.2.5 there is a Black Temple raid Timewalking event which will award Arsenal: The Warglaives of Azzinoth to any character participating and killing Illidan on the event but ONLY if you have the Warglaives of Azzinoth on of one of your characters. This whole thing brings an achievement on its own - I’ll Hold These For You Until You Get Out

• The above means that you don’t have to farm for the glaives on your Demon Hunter but you still have to farm for them on other classes

• They are not transmogable unless for Demon Hunter

• Can be used in Timewalking TBC efficiently so this would be the closes you get to actually strike an enemy with them

Arsenal: The Warglaives of Azzinoth

I only have one piece on my hunter I guess. Do I have to get the other piece with hunter to get the achievement. ? And then I need to kill illidan with my demon hunter to get arsenal? Is this correct?

I don’t think ot matters who you kill TW Illidan with as long as you get the achievement for equipping both blades on a single character beforehand.

I don’t believe hunters can equip them, it’s restricted to warriors, rogues, DKs, monks and DHs.

Oh no, so I must farm both and be lucky then I need to wait tbc timewalking again unless i get both of em in single run, is that even possible? I have few alts that can wear those.

I got mine in less than 2 months of farming. You can farm on multiple characters to increase your chance of one getting them early.

While not very likely it is possible.

I farmed the glaives on my Rogue, I then completed the TW raid on my Paladin to unlock the achievement to transmog them on my DH.

I’m still waiting on the mainhand Waarglaive to drop on my Rogue, I had no luck this week. Which means I have more weeks to grind the gold required to buy a TW: Black Temple boost for the Illidan kill.
