Warglaives on rogues Cata classic

Hey. My friends convinced me to come back to Cata classic and play with them.

Cant transmog Illidans Warglaives and they are still turned the wrong way around with the handguards glitching into the shoulders rather then outwards like they do on retail.

A fix would be nice, both to be able to transmog it and that its turned the right way so it looks better. Would be very neat and cool thanks.

Yeah its very sad there has been no update about this so far, I would love to walk around with glaives once more.

Unfortunately Blizzard is not saying anything on the matter. I tried making a ticket asking for information but the support’s responses were horrible… They all assumed Classic = Retail and Demon Hunters are a thing.

In Legion Classic you can transmog them on your demon hunter.

There won’t be a Legion Classic.

bumping so someone hopefully see’s this

We all saw it.

Sadly, easiest fix ever does not get looked at. Just change the weapon type in the transmog system and we are done.

People said the same thing about classic before it came out.
Then about TBC, then about Wrath and a LOT said there’ll be no “Cata” as it’s “Not classic anymore.”

Truth is noone knows when or even if the “Classic” thing will ever stop at this point.

As long as there are enough subscribers to pay the wage of the single dev copying and pasting old content, there will be more “classic” expansions. Shadowlands Classic coming soon™.

any updates blizz?

There is already an answer, Blizzard answered this years ago. They think Warglaives would be overused and they don’t want everyone running around forever using Warglaives, they think it’s a very DH specific visual and that’s why they decided to make it available to DH’s from beating BT Timewalking.

You’re asking for them to give you an answer over and over, they already gave an answer years ago when they decided they didn’t want Warriors/Rogues/Monks etc to use them. You’re not asking them for an answer, you’re asking them for a different answer than the one they gave.

everyone keeps saying this like we are playing the exact same version of wow with no changes and thats not the case

and they dont want everyone running around with Warglaives? why? whats the difference between everyone running about with that and running around with Thunderfury or Shadowmourne?

What does changes have to do with anything? Retail changes every couple of months, but glaives have been restricted for literally multiple expansion packs. Why would Cata Classic, which is 95% just the same game from 2012, remove restrictions that are still even in retail?

Most of the Cata Classic changes are just things taken from retail, but that have been restricted compared to the retail version, like the current transmog system as a whole is the retail version with way more restrictions and less features.

Why are you asking me that? It’s Blizzard who decided this.

because your telling me they already gave me an answer years ago based on the original game

and now we playing a different version of the game with different answers
