I’d love to use the Warglaives as Tmog for my Rogue, and I personally don’t see an issue with them being able to use the Tmog.
Would they be able to in the future? I hope so. Best Tmog for glaives out there.

A lot of the player base was upset with the exclusivity of the appearance being given to DH only. Considering the weapons were wielded by a variety of classes back in the day and DH didn’t even exist as a playable class.
I still think this was an awful decision and hopefully some day they’ll reconsider.

We can only hope! I mean I saw Rogues showing them off with pride back then (a lot harder to acquire then). As you said, DHs were not a playable race back then, so I don’t see why the Tmog isn’t available for Rogues as well.

Yes I think it was exclusive for DHs long enough. Time to change this.

That could be the reward for doing some kind of questline (a bit like the Heritage Armour questline) where you help some Demon Hunters accomplish some goal and as a reward you get access to these as transmog.
More questlines giving rewards please.
I think maybe have a limited number of glaives, which Rogues could use for example.
You don’t want them running around with every single possible glaive tranmog, as I personally think it would look just a bit stupid.
Of course others may find the whole idea amazing, ground breaking & brave! But I’d just find it weird overall.

yep, glaive of the blood moon and 2 other recolours, 1 handed swords, ok, small choice but it’s something…sorry

Indeed! I dont have the glaives but I agree! We see blizzard already having this “system” in place with “Artifact weapon” option, so people with a staff, can still use main hand + off-hand artifact appearence, so why not, if you have them just make an option “Warglaive” or “Special” and wham it in there?
This will eliminate the fear of other classes running around with other war glaives
Are you referring to the ones from the Black Temple ?
Had no idea you can’t mog them on the classes that could equip them back then. If I remember any class that could dual wield were able to mog them.
This needs to be fixed asap if it is true.
You couldn’t mog any Legendary until recently. The argument went that if you could mog them then everyone would run around with Warglaives of Azinoth and Shadowmourne.
Then they gave everyone Ashbringer in Legion and the absurdity of the argument became quite apparent.
But they retained a vestige of this old approach by having Azinoth be only for DH.
Thats right you could not mog them but could equip them. My monk has them and I spent weeks farming them. I will have to log him later and see if that is still the case or if I cannot even equip them anymore. I will be mad as it will then have been a waste of my time.
As far as I know they’re still classed as Sword and are equipable by those who can wield swords.
Only moggable by DH.
I think other Legendaries are moggable by anyone who can wield that weapon type.

Warglaives should not exist to begin with. They should be 1-hand swords.
I farmed the Illidan leggos back in the day. And now, I cant use the mog unless im a DH.

You see that makes me mad. What was the point of putting time and effort into it if you cant even show it off.
Its not about showing it off. It just looked cool on a rogue or a warrior.
Now I cant look as cool as back in WotlK. Literally.
I have them on DH and I’m very happy with my current Tmog + glaives. It took some doing but I got there. Would be awesome to have the glaives as my Rogue Tmog. Would look so nice with my gear
There are some glavies on the WoD pvp Honor token vendors that are classed as one handed swords and can be used by almost any class
Doesn’t compare to the amazing Warglaives though <3
There’s 0 reason for it. It’s the same reason they were so unwilling to implement moggable legendries to begin with. Just because. No real reason.
There is a real reason, they look amazing.
