Warlock and Death Knight beta opinions

Hello,

I am looking for some feedback in regards to Warlock and Death Knight current state in beta. Which is looking like it could be a solid pick in next expansion?

The areas that i am interested in comparing is solo(survivability) capability, in world content and legacy raids. Rotation flow, is it smooth and enjoyable or clunky. Utility, who has a better chance of being accepted into M+ groups. Focusing on dps primarily, how good are the specs looking so far?

Primary focus of the above points is dps specs in solo and M+ content. Unfortunately i dont have the time to dedicate to testing :frowning: so i was hoping a few people would be able to chip in with some opinions.

Feedback is much appreciated, thanks.

Warlock being ranged and blizzard having a hard on for the class means its going to be better in all situations than DK…so warlock.

(Warlock is already shaping up to be dominate in DF if we look at beta)

Ive been testing my demo lock on the PTR.
Ive set up my talents to be basically exactly what i have now in shadowlands.

I honestly dont feel any difference.
Still feels good to play. Still tanky.

But tuning can always change so might be more or less tanky when it goes live. Never know

I can only comment on demo lock, but they ‘ruined it’ for me by not putting implosive potential in the talent tree.

I don’t know about warlocks but DK’s gonna smash in DF.

UH Dk is one of strongest melee rn, if not strongest, both in m+ and raid scenario, so if u wiling to go as meele definitely give it a shot .

That bein said, its still beta and we have like 3 monts to come for final tunings and meta and whats good and bad will shape rather a lot in that time

Destruction warlock is pretty fun, all the notable borrowed power from previous expansions is now baked into our talents so even though you will be losing a lot of stats during leveling it doesn’t feel clunky due to all the stat procs. Rotation is smooth and the survivability is insane.

I have not tried it in M+ yet so I have no idea how it will perform.

So far it seems like both are looking good, with warlock having a slight edge perhaps.

What do you guys also think long term about the longevity of these classes and who will be performing more consistently?
