Warlock BUG list (tested)

Here’s a shot at some Warlock bugs:

Demo:
-Doom is only applying if you have more than 1 demonic core since the spell is checking for demonic core on hit
-Impending Doom is not giving an imp on doom expiration
-Foul mouth does not work at all/partially works.
-Shadowtouched does not work at all/partially works
-Houndmaster’s gambit does not work.
-Improved demonic tactics do not work at all.
-Demonic Brutality does not work at all.

Class tree:

Several bugs with healthstones. Demonic healthstones will dissapear once you hit a loading screen. I’m not too sure about the regular Healthstone bug, but it puts your Healthstone on cool down until you talent switch.

Affliction:

-Cull the weak doesn’t work at all
-Malefic touch is doing pre-rework damage (it does not scale with mastery)

Destruction:

-Shadowburn is in an unbuffed state compared to beta which makes the entire shadowburn line of talents a dps loss to use.
-Decimation is supposedly proccing less than it should be

Ya, lots of bugs. Let’s hope they get fixed asap…

  • Diabolist Overlord is unable to attack enemies especially large enemies and bosses, will stand next to them twitching until it disappears

Sadly this will be fixed only in 11.0.5

Add Master Ritualist talent (destro). It does nothing.
edit: nvm, didn’t notice that ritual of ruin was nerfed to 20 shards.

Diabolist bug.
Pitlord and Mother of chaos demons do not scale from Haste.
They absolutely ignore the haste stat and nor start to cast their abilities quicker or increase the number of missiles/ticks of the beam.

Just a transmog thing, but still a warlock bug: “Skull of the Man’ari” causes two skulls to appear, one moving normally and the other glitching out.

First set bonus doesn’t seem to work for destruction, I don’t notice any differences in the damage of conflagrate. I read in the US forum that they also reported problems for affliction the first bonus set

Can anyone test if Diabolist hero talent Touch of Rancora does give the promised buff at any time what so ever?

This is wrong.
Look up the talents used by destro in heroic on warcraftlogs and you will see at least 90% use shadowburn and its damage is extremely good.

Im aff on all bosses and it feels good both playstyle and dmg,a bit harder if you assigned on webs for court but non the less im gonna try destro hellfire shadowburn build and see whats the fuss about.

The listed below Demons and Abilities damage doesn’t contribute towards Soul Leech despite the clear description of the tooltip of Soul Leech mechanics.

All single-target damage done by you and your minions grants you and your pet shadowy shields that absorb 3% of the damage dealt for 15 sec, up to 10% of maximum health.

Demonology garbage DAMAGE WISE in PVP (and not only). As it follows, looking at the math, they do it on purpose, they destroy the spec on purpose.

  • Imp Gang Boss, Spiteful Reconstitution, Carnivorous Stalkers, Shadow Invocation, Umbral Blaze, Pact of the Imp Mother, and Pact of the Ered’ruin.
    All these talents contribute to overall damage but only as a “roll of a dice”. They are all in the mode “there is a chance to proc…” No other class has so many “there is a chance to…” in damage contribution.

  • Immutable Hatred (a last row talent!!) doing 29,000 damage a hit, which comes out to .41% of a player’s hit points.

  • “Bilescourge Bombers” the spell, not the effect, is still doing Shadowlands numbers.
    Bilescourge Bombers is currently showing 29,000 damage a tick over 6 seconds. This ends up being about 450,000 damage in six seconds, which comes out to 6.4% of a player’s hit points if they had 7,000,000 hit points.

  • A set of imps shoot for roughly 11k a shot, times 3 imps, for 5 shots each, that comes out to 165,000 damage. That’s about 2.36% of a player’s health pool that has 7,000,000 hit points.

  • Call Dreadstalkers comes out to about 25,000 a hit, 8 hits in total per Dreadstalker over 12 seconds, which is 400,000 damage. It ends up being roughly 5.71% of a player’s health using 7,000,000 hit points over 12 seconds.

  • Demonic Tyrant: If a player uses the new hero talent “Abyssal Dominion” from the new Diabolist Hero Talents, has 2 Dreadstalkers, 1 Charhound, and 6 or more imps, it hits for about 345,000 a shot. This comes out to roughly 4.9% of a players health pool if the player has 7,000,000 hit points, meaning it hits only for 345,000 a shot in PvP

THE ONLY spell they buffed to make it function above Shadowland numbers is Shadowbolt and the only reason they did it is because it s a common spell with afliction.

the damage is absolutely ridiculous in PvP considering that it is also a decidedly immobile spec, to which the proc of the demonic core has been reduced, which it must also cast to breathe, with heavy bugs until the other day. Plus we have half the defense.

Nobody claims to always have an S-god tier spec, but not even reduced like that. The absurd thing is that there has still been no change or buff for several weeks in anticipation of 11.5 (where almost everyone has had buffs or nerfs or even important changes)
