Warlock feel so weak in pvp

Srs rogues killing me in a stunlock. I have 9k hp and a rogue/enhance killed me in a cheap shot ROFL

Warriors hitting for 3k mortal strikes when they connect

This game is just unbalanced… blizzard nerfed warlocks in second half of tbc (SL 20% and drain life affected by MS) so our survavibility isnt that good

It feels like u have to play rogue or mage or its just painful, as a mage at least you can avoid the burst from melee.

And dont say ”get more resi”, resi in tbc is so pathetic

I honestly feel like quitting rn since im not gonna bother leveling a mage. People said tbc didnt have burst but its even more bursty than classic

Rogues are hard for nearly every spec because they simply have the tools to deal with everything. Warriors are indeed hard for us as well because we really dont have anything to keep them from wailing on us, and in arena every warrior knows to kill the sl warlock’s pet first. Warriors can be feared though, there is a 10 second window when they cant have berserker rage up.
Enhance shamans hurt if they can get to you, but you can keep them permaslowed and keep dispelling frost shock with felhunter. Also keep in mind that the shock spells share a cd, so if they frost shock you they can’t earth shock you for 6 seconds and vice versa. Its also a matter of preparation to some extent, having a tremor totem stomping macro really helps because if you can land a fear and get some distance its game over for them. I also have an addon that shows when grounding totem is on the ground on their portrait so I dont use death coil on it etc.

I’ve been PvPing as both sl/sl and UA, and from my experience UA is much more enjoyable. Without UA you are simply doing no damage if there is someone dispelling the enemy team, and instant aoe fear is also super good. I feel like at this point in the game, warlock should be played as it is, a caster and not a tank. In later phases when you have 350+ resil and 12-13K hp it might be a different story.

Cmon man, rogue is the true king of tbc pvp, second place is kinda debatave but probably druid amd third has many favorits

Yeah its bursty but if a warr MS hits u for 3k, did he have 5 sunders up and your pet was dead? I don’t think I ever hit a lock for 3k MS (maybe with 5 sunder, DW, and the pet dead), lol, and I’m using Deep thunder.

I woupdnt say that they are s in this season, later sure

Thats how wow pvp should be, some classes are weak to others while strong against some (How anyone thought slapping rating on rock paper scissor game was a good idea idk but w/e)
Anyway, later seasons you will have more resilience and will become stronger, it’s blizzards inability to actually think forward with these things thats the problem, they dont test stuff, so thats how we ended up with 1.12(or 11, w/e) itemization during MC back in classic…

looks like someone needs more resilience.
seriously though… seeing a warlock cry about how “weak” they are… where’s my barf bag.
this is like seeing a mage complain that his frostbite/icelance is weak, or a rogue saying his poisons/stuns aren’t good enough, or a druid complaining about HoT/Bear form inefficiency… or a hunter complaining that beast within only lasts 18 seconds.

disgusting.

A warlock complaining about pvp? Now I’ve seen it all.

That’s cuz you play a gnome. Gnomes deserve to die.

First he/she isn’t crying just saying it’s feedback although with an irritated tone , I agree with the warlock above who said and I too prefer going UA.

For rogue well if you play it well with the voidwalker and his sacrifice (not the demonology talent choice, the voidwalker ability) and manage to get some cast after your dot and curse on it, by fake casting or using a spell of a different school you can pretty much down most of them.

Unless another class is jumping on the fight or you are in a narrow place/area which you should avoid to begin with at all cost and use the map at your advantage , if you use free action pot or even got the time after the sacrifice to use the quick demon summon talent and get another voidwalker they are mostly piece of cake.

Now and I won’t complain I played war as main for 16 years here is where the trouble come war and hunters , they are perma on you , you’re snared and worst you’ll get silenced and mawed in seconds, any half decent war not even undead will not be feared and use his different anti fear ability and his own fear scream on you if needed.

Hunters… they hit you as they want , you can’t banish the pet , they silence and other cc shot you, press release.

Other class just one fear or a few seconds of free casting and they are history, any magical thing on me ? spellstone dispell and pet, etc etc I absolutely love those who try to play the harder cast.

Overall I absolutely love my class it is different than playing a warrior and versus some class it demand some preparation but I knew from the get go no class and spec is invincible and each got their nemesis.

With SL a warlock is very strong, and they go down a lot slower than other classes.

If you have problems with an SL lock you will most certainly have problems with any other class.

As for the other warlock specs, its tough but it can work, I would even say its viable coming S2 gear and the change to resilience coming with it.

Resilience is the only main reason why warlocks shine above every class in tbc

Look man, it’s a tough world for a mage. Sometimes the frost nova breaks after ONLY six ice lances and 90% of the opponents HP gone.
You don’t know what it’s like man!

right  sorry that was rude of me

Go destro and git gud

As a elemental shaman I feel really offended by this post! Any lock with a little above 1 in skill lvl can beat without a swet!
