I did the Destruction one. I haven’t tried the others but just heard Dest one was quite easy, hence i went for it.
Tips i can give for those struggling;
- Talent into shadowburn. Very handy for killing the snakes and snapping that totem.
- Always save cataclysm and havoc for the snakes.
- Before Tugar starts casting Earthquake, which will start the transition to snakes, make sure you have around 3 shards saved. This way, you can do this for the snakes; Cata, RoF, Havoc, conflag/incinerate, another RoF, then snap them down with Shadowburn. You can argue that snakes are not really difficult to kill; such is the case only at the begining. Just the fact that they spawn 1 by 1 (5 in total) towards Tugar’s death makes 1 or 2 of them not get hit by the Cata, thus, spamming 2x RoF on them to bring them down to Shadowburn range is very useful.
- I personally didn’t hit Jormog at all, other than applying Immolate. Once Tugar is down, its relatively easy to kill Jormog. Some people may find it difficult to take it down as it may feel like it actually outdamages your healing.
Here’s what you can do; make sure you have pots! Remember that healthstones can be used with pots. If you didn’t mess up and saved your HS, you will have HS and pot for Jormog.
Use coil - fear - shadowfury ( in order), to CC his Scream cast (after Tugar dies).
When you do the 2nd interrupt for the Scream cast with the Fear, wait for the full 6 second duration! This means during that 6 seconds you are not taking any damage and you are getting your coil back for more healing.
Utilize drain life! Definitely throw in some drain life there, not only for the Jormog phase but in general.

I popped infernal right away. It felt like i didn’t really need to save it for Jormog or for some certain time. Popped it right away, started taking Tugar down right away.
-
Make a basic kick macro for Turgar. Helps alot!
-
Keep in mind that you can fear both Jormog and Turgar for their casts! If you are free enough, interrupt Turgar’s cast with a fear. This will mean that you will have your kick AND coil for the snake phase. Both are wayy easier to use compared to fearing Turgar in the midst of that chaos.
-
I realized Tugar usually casts the Fel Burst after the cross-shaped fell spell.
-
If you feel like Tugar and Jormog are going to overlap with their Scream + Fel Burst; you can actually pre-fear one of them.
Meaning; you get the feeling they will overlap. Fear Jormog right away, let him sit in the fear till Tugar makes the cast, fear Tugar, then fear Jormog.
Also, if you have coil and havoc both off cooldown; you can havoc + coil both for double cc.
- Replace your non-socketed items with the ones from the AH with a good haste - mastery ratio.
For example, your shiny 252 legs with haste - mastery might be something like 17 haste - 68 mastery. If you find something from AH at or above 50 ilvl, with a stat distribution like 21 haste - 14 mastery. Its actually better for you when it gets scaled back to 50! That 17 haste - 68 mastery will be like 7 haste - 18 mastery.
Or maybe it is 30 crit - 30 haste, which is not bad, but why not get something with mastery on it from AH, with a higher haste distribution! I had around 36-37% haste this way, was very useful for the fear casts.
There are decent enchants for 50-60-70 ilvl items too (the ones you’ll be buying from the AH), make sure they are enchanted as well.
I’ll edit other things if i remember.
