If you do not take this talent as warlock then are a noob hardcore. your gonna die. here is why
when have imp out you have 20% threat reduction. what pet do communly use in dungeon/raiding content thats right the imp. without threat reduction anytime there always high chance you snatch threat from any tank at any given time. getting max numbers on dps meters is not important as long as long job gets done. better your not dead.
whole point of hardcore is be safe as possible
problem is amazingly in hardcore warlocks are highest dead toll out of all the classes in the game. mostly cause thought the job was easy gained god complex through arrogance forgot important steps they needed to take
Rules that help you survive as warlock below
Never use a staff - always have main hand and off-hand you want to use either spell stone or fire-stone.
Never use a Void-Walker - this is biggiest noob trap. sure it can tank. but it cant deal damage in fact it cant even hold aggro. proparly with being talented even then you have highiest chance snatch aggro from it.
Never Spam - Shadow Bolt - Shadow bolt is well consumes alot mp. mp isn’t really issue cause of life tap. sometimes mana drain but still thats major issue here shadow bolt causes lot of threat specially when its boosted compared to corruption or life drain what not shadow bolt deals most threat
Never use “fear” incorrectly
Learning use right tools for the job right pets for the job at hand. you have be smart. dont play like an idiot
Ruin - Do not take this when have tank that is under geared. inexperienced. makes any shadowbolt you cast be equalivant to a taunt if it crits if crit muiti-times you are dead meat just remeber that taunt too can be resisted taking risks on ruin end up dieing thats on you
