When my pet kills a mob I can’t loot it/don’t get credit for the kill.
This must be a bug right?
Not a bug, it’s to prevent you from just having a pet auto-killing things from when “aggressive/defensive” pet-setting was a thing.
Cus there were spots in the game where you could stand AFK and have your pet farm mobs near you for free XP.
to clarify, you have to do at least some amount of personal damage before the mob dies; it’s not important who deals the killing blow at the end.
be careful of using corruption on low level mobs; your pet might end up killing the mob much faster than corruption’s first tick of damage
