Is just me or its too slow and too long ramp up damage and clunky aoe. In PvP at least we are tanky until a decked up melee sticks like glue.
actually reading around many warlocks agree on the fact that there are problems in damage and in aoe, and a too high slowness in having a damage at the level of other classes that only need a few hundredths of a second to have suffered very high spike damage. Destruction definitely better.
On PvP front, in reality all three warlocks specs are decidedly less âtankyâ than the previous expansions, definitely playable but not tanky as many say. I have not tried any other class in TWW and I do not know if the warlock is more or less resistant than others.
At first glance I think that the mage, especially frost, is much more resistant as it is absolutely untouchable by melee if played well.

It is not, I did my rotation right the whole Floodgate, yet got in pair with tank warr dmg in overall on +6.
Prot war has incredible dps tho
Consider playing demo until you get to higher keys. The new tier set massively buffs its AOE, too.
Iâm doing +10-12 keys and betime I start spamming MR the mobs are already half dead

The problem is that we just have alot of cast time.
Some of it can be avoided but most of the time we have always had a ramp up time of 2-4 seconds.
We do have the ability to âramp upâ before next pack, at least as destro and demo with âritual of ruinâ as destro and imps + âdread callingâ (I always summon charhoud before the pack to amp dog damage) as demo.
Aff i have no idea as it just requires so many casts at every single pack.
Aff ramp up time is terrible. We have so many buttons to press before we can start âspammingâ damage.
I love Affliction and there are so many suggestions in these forums that would give the spec some quality of life. Lets hope people read them because we have to many spells that have 1, 2, or all 3 costs to them (cast time, soul shard cost, cooldown).

Aff never will get more QoL changes because Blizz hate warlocks and last patches confirm thisâŚMaybe Blizz are busy reworking mage again for next big patch.
