As I understand, Aug evoker was a big success. Let’s go for a lock support, this is so easy to do. The class already has HS, teleport, summon, soulstone, debuffs on enemies, it’s just screams in support fantasy.
Would be so awesome to imbue the weapons of allies to do extra fel damage, have some pets who would heal, sacrifice your own HP to increase alliy’s damage, put explosive dots on enemies that explode if allies do damage, have some pets who explode on enemies and heal allies, pets that restore mana, it can be so fun.
Absolutely not. Warlocks are dark and selfish creatures, we only help others as a means to help ourselves. PS. we dont actually use the debuff curses we have…
Warriors on the other hand would be perfect support class. They are there to protect their party with brave and selfless acts. Throwing their bodies in the way of enemies and inspiring and bolstering the group with shouts.
If there was to be a support spec for Warlocks, It would probably be based around debuffing enemies. I mean, we already have curses so there’s precedent. Plus, they could bring back the Venthyr Impending Catastrophe spell. It would be a perfect fit.
I agree kind of, but I think a warlock support spec specialised in teleporting team mates, cc (have banish work like cyclone), and debuffing could be kind of epic, but the problem I see is that it would be extremely unfun to play against in pvp for example.
I think if one class should get a debuff support spec it’s 100% DH.
Exactly. Paladins and shamans are the bros of warriors, who are made to synergise with us perfectly. Blessing of freedom, offhealing, windfury etc are all loved by warriors. Warrior is a class that receives support. We also protect as tanks facing enemies head on. We don’t improve other tanks. Shaman and paladins though improve our tank capabilities with earth elements and blessings/protection aura. Prot paladins are also basically support tanks, since they can bop others, etc. We are a class, that is the perfect “receiver” of support, which is a cool dynamic.
