Warlock Tuning Needed

I know that there will be tuning, and boy is it needed for Warlocks. Some friends and I have noticed that Demo is hitting like a wet noodle right now. Destro is a bit better but is still having issues with the bottom row of the talent tree and some abilities not working sporadically.

Demo and Destro have a lot of potential once tuned so I’ll look forward to that once changes are implemented.

You have to wait till next season starts.

when they tune demo they usually butcher other two…

They can’t really butcher the other two since they’re already butchered, aside from maybe Affliction and even that needs tuning to be decent.

Any tuning will be welcome right now.

They shouldn’t do any tuning based on pre-patch numbers. The current gear (stats), set bonuses, and the absence of hero talents distort the balance greatly.

But this is also why I don’t feel it’s a good idea to release new talent trees and skill changes only partially, especially if it’s several weeks before the “rest”, like hero talents, is added.

Of course the hero talents have had an impact since they were active in beta, but they’re not here right now.

The specs still need to be viable for another 4 weeks so ya, tuning is needed. Demo is dead right now and needs to be viable without hero talents and the same goes for Destro.

Wait until TWW and you can use the hero talents.

You’re basing your opinion off the prepatch, where you can not spec into those hero talents. If you want some further clarification, use YouTube and look at the videos from people playing in the beta and see how they’re doing, when using all the talents available to them.

Also, just because something was strong in DF, doesn’t mean it will be the same in TWW.

Personally, I don’t care if we’re weak at the moment. I’m just chilling before the event comes next week.

Just take the time to enjoy the calm before the storm.

I am well aware that the hero talents are coming in TWW.

I’m also well aware of how all of this works. I have seen enough launches now, but my point is that for four weeks we will still play these classes and it would be nice to have a little tuning in the current build of the game so that we aren’t doing flat damage until TWW launch.

It won’t happen unfortunately. We have to deal with what we’ve got until next month.

With the prepatch Blizz are tuning for the end game of TWW at 80… 70’s a stage of leveling now.

I think the mechanics of a destro warlock is way more fun now, but. Yeah I agree it’s currently hard to play mythics or raids because the damage is currently lacking…

Found myself leveling up other characters in the meantime…

All I ask is them combine the debuffing curses into one, for the reason that I think 3 separate button for slow, atk spd and casting spd debuffs reminds me too much of 2005 vanil than retail wow in 2024 and I would rather see them make one smart curse that acts as all combined on the target. Other than that Im content on what it is atleast in pvp theyre not doing bad and even now with slowing the pace of game due armor,hp increases I imagine they will be pretty good. But if it looks they are too much behind after hero talents then sure buff locks. :dracthyr_a1:

Since mages and locks are blizz’s favorite ,they will do weekly buffs to locks until they are OP.

Yeah, I’d say both Destro (especially Destro) and Demo are actually a ton of fun right now.
As soon as they hit a little harder, it’s going to be pretty awesome to play around with them. I mean it’s fun now, but I suspect it will be a lot more fun soon.

Think your playing wrong as currently they are OP
