And I don’t mean like their temporary ability to control them, I want like full on hunter style pets for them.
Mostly writing this because of all the cool little pets I can tame in Icecrown as my DK honestly.

I’m only wished warlock can tame demons. Since they had ugly old demons pets, I dont liek them.
Would let me choose tame demon when they looks better than old warlock’s pet.
Wrathguard is my fave pet. (use Glyph over Felguard)
But, too bad demonology new dont my type. I love play as destruction spec.

Warlocks should be able to ‘tame’ [contract] more demons, yeah absolutely… DK’s, they just raise whatever’s in the area, so they should just have their ghoul localized to whatever denizen that would be present in that area.

wish we could raise creatures based on player corpses. So like undead tauren, vulpera etc as our pets. But would require player kill to get.

That could easily be a glyph like the ones Hunters have for Dire Beast.
Cant wait for all dem lockz to run around with Archimonde and KJ pets or DKs running around with Arthas (if NPCs such as these remain “nope” im all goochie with the suggestion)

Being able to tame some of the crazy demons from Argus would be awesome, like the Bilescourge or Vilefiends or Ur’zul
For me it’s the one thing that I would love for the two classes, since they’re probably my two favourites in game.

I so loved being able to have an Abomination as a pet. i am happy that my hunter will be able to tame the undead dogs like Gluth but really… imagine Gluth as a DK pet.

Orc DK with undead wolf pets would be awesome, basically an undead Frostwolf clan member
I’m all fore more cosmetic glyphs, but making DKs able to tame undead wouldn’t make sense lore-wise. Hunter’s pet is their companion, DK’s pet is their disposable minion. All DK pets are basically low tier undead minions who are easily replaceable, so we can’t really get minions such as the higher undead like liches, val’kyr or the like. Even nerubians would be a stretch, but I could see us getting a glyph for that at least.

I don’t think taming would make sense for a DK, since the pet that we summon is always a random one. However it is a shame that we have only 3 different looks for the undead pet when there are so many undead models in the game. Adding more glyphs is an easy way to add more customisation.
As for warlocks, enslaving a demon out in the world would make sense, as warlocks always summon the same demon. Similar to the undead, there are loads of different demons out there to enslave, and it is a shame that we are stuck with just a handful of them.
Problem then would be demonology warlocks and unholy dk’s would their class fantasy if every class spec could do what they could
Not really. Both those specs have the means to conjure up multiple minions over time while the other specs only got Army of the dead/Persistent and nuke demon.
You prob wont able to tame raid bosses, if they ever put that in.
There would probably need to be some restrictions in place but generaly its a great idea. I think itd also be cool if druids could transform into different animals which fit into their respective role. Transform into a turtle instead of bear for example.
Would love of them to fix the current tragedy that is the current hunter pet system first tho. : )
Dont see any of the above happening tho since blizzard is busy adding 1 expansion long features/borrowed power instead of polishing up their base game.
