Wouldnt Warlocks benefit from the Evokers casting style?
Instead of Havoc you could use empowered spell casting to multi dot with immolation, corruption etc even casting aoe chaos bolts.
use talents to modify the spells.
Empowered chao bolt could mean up an additional bolt per level at a longer cast time. The talent could mean up to 5 but less damage per bolt. Have another talent that increases the damage but takes away the cleave aspect.
I reckon it would suit warlocks.
Theoretically any caster can benefit from that, but blizzard in their Eternal(NOT) wisdom decided that it should be a thing for a new DH spec.
benefit? Maybe.

Aint me tho. I am perfectly content with how we work right now and do not want any changes to it.
a system similar to that of the evokers, with the current speed of the game, the mobility and cast time of the warlock’s spells, make it personally impossible to implement
this so much this, it works for evoker because of multiple hovers, slow immunities and silence immunities from obsidian bulwark.
Empowered casts come with a bunch of design issues. They way they work you’ll not have a proper spell queue, and you’ll lose time between the markers if you’re not fast enough or have higher ping.
I don’t want to have to make the choice between a lower or high empowered chaos bolt, I just want to blast.
