It doesn’t make sense that a class whose sole purpose is to deal damage, is ranked so low in both Raids and Mythic+ on every spec! Why!!!
It’s unreasonable that we’re so weak. At the very least, give us one spec that can be at the top of the charts!
Why does the Druid get the best tank in the game and also an extremely strong caster?
Why are the Shaman’s three specs leading in all roles? The healer, melee, and caster are all top-tier!
All the Warlock has to offer is damage. We don’t bring buffs, we don’t provide BL, and we don’t have strong interrupts. We don’t have anything that would make people prioritize us.
Aside from the numerous buffs that should have already been in the game since we are a mid tier dps and approaching the bottom tier, there are also so many bugs with both destro and demo.
Dear warlock devs, the game is not free to play, do your god damn job and fix this.
Your personal experience and personal feelings are not relevant. Learn to read logs, and that way you can really know where each spec stands. And if you have players with a 620 ilvl and you are outperforming them at 610, they are probably playing with their toes.
Ok next time before you speak about tuning whether its buffs or nerfs or bugs regarding any class, make sure to know about that class because clearly you have no idea about this one, no offense.
since when did i involve feelings into this? not my problem u dont know to play ur class.
i seen ur logs, and other warlocks logs in ur guild, they doing just fine but not you (facts).
I’m trying Demonology after the supposed buffs. I say “supposed” because objectively around 600k crit for Demon Bolt with Power Siphon+Blood Invocation+trinket despite today’s 40% buff and an IL of 635… Ruination despite the name makes around 800k crit
And we are talking about the most grounded spec in the whole game, with extremely long cast times, which logically should hit much harder than the extremely mobile classes
I would rather question Blizzard logic.
They gutted the demon core generation saying that Demonology is about summoning demons rather than spamming hard hitting spells…
But those buff Demonbolt for 40% damage.
When undertuned demons like wild imps, Tyrant or Dreadstalkers hasn’t received any form of buffs…
Yes, it’s all definitely comical. I would add the fact that I read that someone doesn’t notice the 40% increase on the Demon Bolt, in fact I had calculated that it could hit critical for about a million with wicked maw etc and yet the damage seems identical to yesterday. Do you confirm?
By the pure feelings it started to deal more damage, but not 40%.
Tested it in Soul Harvester and to my surprise I noticed that Doomguard was higher in my dps, but the numbers of Demonbolt feels weird, like 10-20% buff but not 40%.
I don’t understand, I checked another time, the Demon Bolt’s damage in PvP (against players) is almost identical to before the alleged 40% buff. I would add that a spender like the Hand of Gul’dan with 3 shards as a Diabolist with the talent Gloom of Nathreza and Touch of R Ancora does absolutely very low damage, and the excuse of the fact that the damage comes from the imps is not enough to defend the fact that a spell like that makes 100k or so
Damage is a questionable thing, what Demo needs is make all soul shard spending abilities to be instant, or make a mechanic that each soul shard required to cast a spell reduces the cast time by 33%. Easily executable damage would make rotation better.
I don’t know if I did something wrong before, but by doing the same things now the Demon Bolt hits in PvP for around 900k crit from Diabolist. I tried Soul Harvester and strangely the damage is more or less the same despite the 20% power siphon buff
With the latest fixes to the AI of the greater demons I must say that the spec is definitely better, even if the big problem of being too tied to the hard cast
