Both Affliction and Demo, even with a versatility around 20%, gets melted by melees like Rogue, Warrior and what have you.
Plus, other than (even Felguard against DH), our pets are easy to kill. And they are VERY essential.
Amongst the changes we haves seen so far, we are not getting any extra defensive passive or active spell. Which means, they put the last nail to our coffin for pvp.
I agree it’s so disgusting to get only 1 Def cd with 3min when monks/dk/dh/rogue got like 3 or 4 and with a super low cd on it…
To be fair, some of the cooldowns that other classes employ are talents. With that in mind, hopefully Dark Pact becomes a good option to pick for PvP.
In general though, warlocks should return to being a range “tank” in the sense that we are hard to kill. I don’t mind if we have less selfhealing or defensives as other classes, but a lot of our resilience has been taken away from us. So yea, we do need compensation somewhere.
