spoke with some horde players on the nazmir assault and they too do not like imbalance in warmode
yet in nazjatar pvp events you either see the opposite side have more than 1 raid against none of yours not including the lag
or the shard has only 1 enemy player and its win without being eligible for win reward
or a multibox that stands on thoras and will not move to another base
or atleast 10 to 20 random alliance doing their aoo/cta on the road and horde raid taking the hks for the weekly pvp nazjatar wq
Nothing probably. WM is likely already as balanced as they can get it. Always pros and cons of any suggested fixes, with the cons just causing other issues. Imo, go with the flow.
there are a lot of ways to fix it to some degree, now as you said every way to make it work has pros and cons, now the question is what system would be the best and in my opinion the current one is the worst possible option they could pick.
sharding would be easy to fix just change how groups decide what shard they are on and that would most likely fix much of it the only con would be that joining groups at a rare or the like would have it hard to make groups for rares in WM but then they could use WM off for rare hunting(shard hopping for that).
they could also remove the bonus from WM
so they also gain 18% more gold then a horde player with wm(10% for horde and 30% for ally(then use math to figure out the difference in % with a base of 110%(the horde bonus added to the wq)) or more 18% more ap or resources.
now instead iām of the opinion that all bonuses to rewards from wm should be removed both horde and ally
Damage is already done and because they did nothing to even attempt to repair the damage it is now way too late to do anything at all except to give alliance something so OP or enticing to lure more people on our side.
Warmode is in so sad stage that even if i love pvp to death in open world i just cant be bothered anymore because questing and even doing world pvp is no fun anymore because the imbalance.
and there is where the sharding problem comes in, you can as ally join shards that a totally dominated by alliance side, that would say that they gain 18% more than their horde counterpart without any negative side(unless you count grouping up to join the shard as negative)
