As far as I know we’re all connected, or most of us. However, we are all on different shards. And each shard has a different H:A ratio.
In other words; you can just be unlucky, lucky or you can steer your fate by grouping up using the premade-group finder (so you either adjust the ratio yourself or hop to another shard…).
Belf orc and troll have had their time in the sun still do, heck tauren racial is only bad cause meld exists.
Even the lesser racials like portable bank or 4 extra bag spaces is always a nice thing to have
You can try and play it down all you want but racials one of the main reasons people moved to horde originally among others
It might not be a king but it definitely wore a crown when it came to justifying a competitive edge
Orc relentless, triple belf silence, the troll haste and movespeed reduction just to name a few reasons. The belf purge is still really good since its a PbAoE
Yeah right now today, 3 chests in a row me and other random lvl 65 horde vs 10+ allies on war chest. Unplayable WM for horde, there is nothing u can do. STOP IGNORING THIS!
Honestly I noticed the exact moment in DF when the disparity became too obvious to ignore; it was the very moment Orc racial was nerfed AND they brought out the pvp belt that gave every race the same CC reduction.
From that exact point onwards, most pvpers (who are natural minmaxers, pvp is about taking any advantage you can) had no reason to roll Horde. Objectively, nothing the Horde races have comes anywhere close to shadowmeld, it’s effectively an extra defensive cooldown that can stop all damage for a few seconds. With no further incentive to roll Horde, the disparity has just grown since then and now warmode is almost unplayable for Horde outside of premade groups.
Edit: It’s also pretty clear to see that Horde have generally better PVE dps racials (Troll), so Horde’s player numbers are propped up by those players, yet warmode is empty for them.
All the souless midmaxers have abandoned the horde for the alliance like cowards… Haven’t won a bg even if im top on kills and objectives in DAYS… WTF is going on
This hits hard when I’m on my Horde alt, Warmode is just… well pointless when alone… But when horde are grouped in Warmode then, well they do be unstoppable.
Wtf… Since WW I have seen alli win war chest TWICE. Its always swarmed by horde.
legit troll. i can invite u right now, we wait 5 minutes, and a pvp chest is gonna appear, 100% alliance, ive fought like 20-30 chests knowing they were gonna be lost, and now im back to just ignoring the damnthing, its just a 20 minutes FREE LOOT for alliance
Nah, the Horde is trolling, HARD. Last 6 days I haven’t gotten a single chest. Last xpac where horde was at a disadvantage was WoD. Sorry to bust your bubble bro.

you’re having different experiences because there are server groups like the old battlegroups pre MoP or Pre Cata (i forget which)
essentially there will be 10-20 or so realms in this group and while in this group you’re at the mercy of the existing pvp faction ratio. my server group for instance which includes silvermoon, ravencrest and outland means it is essentially impossible for the horde to ever outnumber the alliance, short of fudging the system by smuggling people in via premade groups.
in other server groups, the roles are reversed. German Horde are quite active in pvp, so if you’re a german you’ve got a much higher chance of having horde dominated shards.
on my particular shard it is so alliance dominant that it was part of the reason I went alliance. You couldn’t do anything in warmode whatsoever as horde. even simple daily quest areas had 10-15 alliance to every 1 horde. you’d win a 1v4 at a war chest and 8 more alliance would appear.
this is POV you’re any horde in my server group for the past 4 yrs+
the only pvp alliance face at war chests is if another alliance player accidentally flew through a wpvp zone and made themselves momentarily attackable to other alliance players

also for the whole battleground, idc, maybe there is 1-2 groups where horde wins chest, the other 90 are alliance
like rated pvp
like normal bgs
every content is alliance domianted

Dunno man but Horde is always sooo whiny whenever a coin turns the other way around for even a millisecond, while they spit and laugh on the alliance all the other times.
Beginning of TWW it was quite balanced, more often than not yeah we had the chests, but this turned around again.
