Coming back to WoW from Legion, I’m finding WPVP and Warmode are consistently ruined by gathering multiboxxer bots, who for some reason have Warmode on.
Currently there are 41 Alliance players in my Nazjatar shard, 29 of them are druids, some are even named Xone, Xtwo, Xthree. (I tried hyperlinking a screenshot of /who, but it’s not allowed)
The PVP event started and obviously we had no chance of fighting whatsoever.
It’s also common to see the same scenario from the other side, which turns these PVP events into a coinflip, depending on which side has more bots in that shard.
Is there any way for me to avoid these shards?
I couldn’t find any groups in either the custom PVE or PVP section of the Group Finder, and honestly I shouldn’t have to, I find it hard to believe that it’s impossible for Blizzard to detect 5 players in a group moving in perfect synchronization and doing the same gathering route 24h a day.
I want to stress that this is not an occasional issue, this has happened to me every single time I’ve engaged in WPVP in BFA, on both factions, and regardless if I luck out an easy win or not it ruins the gameplay. It’s not fun.
Multiboxers are great in Ashran BG, recently played a game where there was a multiboxer with 10 characters. All those characters got killed a lot, really fast - the game was lost so fast thanks to that … It was really annoying.
i believe you mostly see them in nazjatar next to the mailbox in your base
earlier we had a alliance group of 7 drop in to farm their AOO kills
the prot war alone got 4 of them down
others survived due to other horde players jumping in
they die and you see 9 multibox druids getting the a honorable kill achi each
I see them occasionally in Ashran, and on few occasions I saw them in Wintergrasp.
I’ve never seen a multiboxer in non-epic battlegrounds though. But in the Epic ones (25 (Ashran) - 40 man (IoC, Wintergrasp, AV) I do sometimes see them.
Most of the time they are either completely useless - like dragging your faction down, by getting killed multiple times in a row, draining your resources (Ashran example), or are easy / free HKs for you if they happen to be on the opposite side.
And I agree - Nazjatar is full of them, especially when Battle of Nazjatar (War Mode) is on
