So healer MMR is a complete trainwreck for several months now but apparantly Arms warri is the most important thing in the game and gets an emergency patch which will totally not overbuff the class right after you buffed BM, lock, fury and dh. Like how do specs that have been played during AWC need any buffs at all? If anything, they should bring the outliers down, not randomly buff working classes into oblivion. Meanwhile not even the healers on the lower end got anything to keep up with these hilarious dps buffs. Disc is in a far worse position than warri is right now and got next to nothing for example, neither got resto shaman or rdruid for example.
Seems like everybody should just spam at least 10 posts every day demanding buffs for his/her main, no matter in which state it is currently. Embracing the way of the warrior seems to pay off. Unbelievable.
There are more Fury warriors than hpriests, rdruids, rshamans, prevokers and Discs above 2,4k in Shuffle, can somebody unironically explain me why the class is considered as unplayable? Or why the easiest class in the game somehow deserves to be S+ tier in the highest bracket?
Warrior is neither S+ tier nor is it an easy class on higher ratings. The sustain dmg buffs for arms after the burst dmg nerfs seem to be needed, and the devs agree
I didn’t compare, I just said it’s not that easy on higher ratings against people that know how to play. Yes, the devs seem to think that the buffs to arms’ sustain wasn’t enough to offset the nerfs to arms’ burst - the dmg increase to MS is effectively a buff (which was needed), the other things not so much. Let’s see how it pans out after the patch and complain later, shall we
That didnt stop arms warriors from instantly complaining before testing the first buff to MS ^^ Yes, it was a buff to MS(even in burst) before they added the extra 10% on top of it now.
The thing is, this can be said about pretty much any spec at higher rating if so.
Sure it can be, but some people here always claim that warrior is easy so why should they get buffed, when in general all specs are more or less difficult on high ratings against good players. I don’t know if warrior players start complaining right away, I don’t follow the forums that much. But the buff to MS was need I think, especially with the nerf to the burst. As a healer (my healer is around 2.4 SS) I’d imagine having an arms on you will feel a little bit more heavy on the heal-load in general, but you won’t freak out as much when he pressed avatar/colossus smash, and maybe even save a CD where you wouldn’t have before. But we have to wait and see. I don’t think it will make THAT much of a difference tbh, but idk
We had 2 arms warriors who instantly went on a nerf rampage even when MS got buffed. But atleast one of them only deem arms playable if its S tier or higher, but obv this is not towards every arms warrior. Just those 2 gives it a bad name for me.
Obv people have to wait and see what these changes will imply in actual PvP, but keep buffing melees instead of nerfing a few outliners that overperform is something that will keep making me not want to PvP. Sure, im a low rated player but I dont enjoy when I heal or when I play seeing ppls or my own hp drop by 70% in roughly 1-2sec because everyone needs bigger burst and sustain.
Blizzard enjoys overbuffing and taking months to nerf unless its something like rets in 10.0.7 that got released even in a broken state after people warned in PTR.
So I dont rly have high hopes when this is the move they take to try to get more people to play healers when they dont rly get anything from playing it except a broken MMR system thats 10x worse than dps.
yea it’s a mess. it don’t like that play style either on my healer - keep everyone at 100% and full hots up because in the next CC, who knows, your guy could drop from 100 to 0 at random
Lol nice cherry-picking… There are two warriors that are 2cr “away” from R1 cutoff in 3v3 and FOUR within 27cr range… It is not like the closest warrior is 100cr away…

I mean, instead of trying to fix the MMR system and making more players actively want to heal… they do… nothing about it or take up to 6 months+ to even give an extremely small reward to try to get more players to heal but still with the broken MMR system.
His statement also still isn’t false in any way, especially not in the context of it’s response to OP making it sound as if Warrior as a whole is taking over the high end of the ladder.
OP even pointed out fury specifically having more over 2.4 in shuffle than other healers(Which is weird AF to begin with, as healers fight healers in shuffle, and whenever one healer is too dominant, the rest cant compete, as healers keep mentioning he should be pointing out Hdin or even hpriest to a degree), but thats the case for -a lot- of DPS specs that are equally simple to play, to me, that feels a lot more cherry-picking.
I can’t wait to heal the enormous DPS buffs wensday.
Affli lock didn’t need any Dmg buffs.
Hunters didn’t need any Dmg buffs.
DH didn’t need any Dmg buffs.
Warriors didn’t need any Dmg buffs.
Nothing is in need of buffing to dmg. You have lobbies, where people legit die in the first globals of the game, even throughout link, wall etc etc…
Healers have been treated like dogarse since DF came out, and it’s legit becomming worse and worse.
And I just heard/read PvE has it that way too.
I can’t believe what idi*t keep thinking that healers are not suposed to play this game.
If you want something fun to play, go play healer this comming wensday. It will be much great. Why not buff flatline the dmg by atleast 50%. That will make the game great again. Ape ape monkey UGA BUGA ret*rd nation inc.
I didn’t really want to see a buff, because the playstyle of arms is garbage. Would rather see them fix the damage rotation and make it more fun before tuning it. Now it will get popular for being an easy noobstomper spec, but the issues will stay, and it will still feel clunky and suck in PvE.
They should literally enforce a 2melee, 2ranged in RSS at all times.
last 24 hours there were:
76019 melees in lobbies.
53179 ranged in lobbies.
With arms and dhs being buffed I would expect this to increase unless the warlock buffs makes more ranged which I highly doubt.
So would be fun to see melee having longer que than ranged
