Maybe it’s just me, but i honestly feel like warriors (specially Arms) got totally screwed over. Like the DPS seems none existing. Or just barely there. Honestly, should have kept it how it was in DF. Was way better

I returned to wow in prepatch after season 3 and did all 10 m+ keys this week and i was outdamaged in overall only once by ret pala when i died at the start of a big pull in BH. Usually i have 500-600k overall with 505-510 ilvl for both arms and fury and second place is usually 100-200k less dps than me.
I think warrior damage is pretty good in prepatch so skill issue, check your talents and rotation.
For arms in aoe dont forget to spam cleave its very strong now and use sweeping strikes on cd. For st arms you need to use more slams than before (when mortal strike and overpower on cd) and you dont have thunder clap so you need to use rend which can feel weird.

This might be true in PVE, but the OP might be talking about PVP, where outside bleeds due to current armor values, warrior is bottom of the food chain and then some.

I haven’t played since S3 so I still have full S3 gear. I went into LFR and comfortably demolished everyone on damage after not playing the game for near 6 months, I felt hilariously overpowered. if I had done these numbers in S3 I would have been getting rank 1 parses left and right, so I’m not sure where anyone is seeing a lack of damage from Arms.
The spec plays basically the same as before at 70, with a few things jumbled around. None of this is relevant at all anyway because it’s lvl70 pre-patch numbers and none of the 70 balance is relevant when the expansion hits.
well, with recent patch many warriors shifted to fury. arms isnt viable atm.
I assume we are talking about TWW beta here? If it is then fair enough, I have not tried it so will take your word.
However if we are talking about pre-patch then Arms does one of, if not the best dps in game there. I was crushing peoples damage in keys that were 10ilvls about me and I am not a great player.
