Warrior buff on weekly reset?

Rofl rampage 10% I’m gonna throw up

We now need more buffs and better utilities for raid and mythic+

Buffs looks good to me. I don’t play enough arms to know, but it looks like DPS warrior is getting close to 10%. 8-10% range, ish. My gut is not reacting to any silly interaction being buffed, so sounds about right. Who knows, perhaps this enables some silly meme build that causes cleave to go burrrr.

For Fury, these changes would net me around 7% based on my details breakdown, but I am always pressing execute too much. So for a more clean DPS profile closer to 6%.

I still am far from be top of the meter with these buffs, but I will also no longer be a pure ball-chain around the legs of my friends - as AP% value should more or less push me to “equal value” (basically, subtract 4% from your friends and add it to you). My ret mate will do around 2+mill, I will with modifier sit around 1.9mill.

This is fine balance wise, as I still bring my AoE burst value and my ST now should gain a bit more value overall. I sincerely believe that burst and ST is more value than flat sustain profiles. Faster prio targets die, is a lot better than them dying slow but steady, in most to all situations. Sure, Ret do bring more raw utility and damage still, yet I chose to not wake up to reality, to dream just a bit longer that our burst is good enough to carry.

So, I would say we come out as winners (until someone with real numbers call me out for being wrong), but my gut reaction is these are some good changes. Well targeted towards our main failings of ST and consistent DPS value. Really do help closing the gap between us and the top-end, yet not push us too far above the midpack. I am disapointed that our AoE burst is still hurting, yet I know for a fact - this is something that the Team Flat and Theorycrafters are currently opening champagne bottles about as we speak.

This was probably the best timeline,
Untill we see another set of nerfs in response, as now Fury clearly needs more nerfs.

(and if it is AoE burst nerfs, the flat-enjoyers will be ecstatic)

It looks like they were trying to kill Odyn’s Fury and they have succeeded, which is a shame because it’s enjoyable to play with. The up-side is these buffs are actually legit and will make Warrior look a lot more competitive finally.

We are not. Being middle of the pack with no good utility is not a win! It is either buff our damage more or better utilities for raid and mythic+

True, should’ve been a nerf. So we were true real winners.

Also, ye,

They have not been trying to, they activaly gone for this since launch. I presume the one who made OF viable again (MVP) got fired, set on fire and thrown into a nest of fire ants. Cause they really have done all in their power to force Odyn’s to be gone. Mainly cause certain influential persons really advocate for it to be so.

Hey, at least camp AoE burst got to have fun prepatch and week 1 of launch!

Arms is buffed for sure, but seems to be by a small percentage.

Still no utility whatsoever, and now we will be mid pack. Still not a winner case on this, believing we are winners for a small % increase after weeks of nerfs, is unfortunately a bit of stockholm syndrome Kitty

It is fine, this is fine.

Better nerf fury.

for better or worse this is the best we have been in any expansion at the first tier.
usualy warriors are crap the first 2 tiers and then becomes better towards the later stages

That doesnt hold true, and even if it was, that would be a wilfully stupid design philosophy.

True. Blizzard should stop this design philosophy

I want to play arms but the skull splitter bleed stuff is a big no, why do they keep forcing arms into bleeds, we are not feral druids …
Also the animations and sound effects for arms are soooo bad …

Blizz actually walked back some of the buffs, Execute in particular for Fury. Bizarre because Execute for Fury is so weak it’s basically useless, should have had a 30% buff, but lol to be fair to them it had been almost a week since they announced a Fury nerf, they had to do something

I don’t know why you would expect Arms to not be a bleed based build, they are not Feral druids but they are Arms Warriors, a bleed based spec for the last 16 out of 20 years that it has existed. I don’t know what to tell you.

Also about Skullbreaker, you can not run it and it will have barely any impact on your dps at all, it’s a filler ability that has basically no relevance outside of Execute as a filler. If you don’t run it in your build on single target, you will be fine, on multi-target you never run it.
