Just tested this in a duel vs a rogue, if you see the rogue (who is in stealth) and shockwave, with or without target, the stun lands, but if you back up 1 foot (still in shockwave range) and the rogue goes in stealth completely (cant target him) and shockwave, it doesnt land, but it removes his stealth. Same with thunderclap, if you can target the rogue in stealth, the bleed applies, if you move 1 foot away, to where you cant see him, it removes stealth and thats it. this has to be a bug
Vs hunter and druid if you mortal them out of stealth/ camo, it removes stealth only, not applying mortal strike or any bleeds.
