Warrior Class Changes Underwhelming

Effective balance changes

What you’re saying makes more sense now. I don’t mind a bleed, but I totally agree that it should not take up almost a third (or more) of damage done. I much preferred strikes of opportunity, both as an increase in rage generation, and thematically. I’d argue that both deep wounds and extra white hits should come from mastery, and have damaging abilities front loaded with more damage.

The changes for warriors in shadowlands are looking great, getting a lot of core abilities back is going to be so good, the only thing i’m not happy with is the talents double time, impending victory and storm bolt on the same row continuing to remain a very strange tier.

From a PvP standpoint I liked the WoD warrior better than both Legion and BfA, all it needed imo was the Cata style Overpower that proced on dodge and from Rend ticks. I really don’t care if our filler is slam or ww since it isn’t pressed much anyway. I like that we had a decent selfheal and a good toolkit. that combined with the PvP talents from BfA would make a good PvP arms warrior for me. Didn’t do much PvE in WoD so can’t say what needed to change PvE wise, from WoD tho

Blockquote **[ Deep Wounds] - Your Devastate and Revenge also cause 70%the enemy to bleed for (73.5% of Attack power) BleedPhysical damage over 15 sec.

Guys, would it mean that DW will be reduced by armor as physical dmg in SL?

nope

Tbh i would be happy with arms as long as they change the mastery to opportunity strikes, make MS a rage regen and a bit more meaty. I am so tired of having to use skullsplitter in pve because of our bad rage regen.

I want to play arms but don’t like the way it feels currently, staying hopeful for shadowlands changes, mainly just want to see our mastery changed, or nerfed so that our actual game play deals damage rather than just being a smart price feral druid.

Also remove sweeping strikes from the GCD as it feels filthy.

Although i don’t think arms really suits having a heal, pretty much every other class has one and arms not having one does make it feel squishy, i feel like ignore pain was probably the right direction for this, defensive stance should equip a shield and increase armor, reduce damage taken, and then allow use of shield block and then just reduce our damage output - would give us a feeling of being tanky rather than self healing then.

As of now Arms Warriors in SL are BfA+. Nothing has been solved. Rage-generation is still random and uninvolved, mobility is still bad, survivability is poor and the damage ratios are weird. In short, everything that was an issue in BfA. The un-pruning has done little to nothing for those issues.

Congrats fellow arms warriors with deep wounds mastery, skullsplitter and without something inspiring like executioner precision or focusing rage for next two years. Devs totally unadequte

Thankfully it’s only the first pass because this is so broken that Warriors might as well be deleted from the game since if this goes live no spec will be used for anything.

raging blow is crap right now… why not make it do good dmg as back in the days? also the spammy rotation is getting boring real fast imo

One thing is the talents being uninspiring. The reason they’re so uninspiring is because the specs they are for are uninspiring as well and in many cases need these talents to even work. Which is rubbish. A spec should work without talents applied and the talents should just further define your playstyle.

I think they should rework fury again, in legion i felt fury was the best thing ever bursty af and enjoy it very much and never get tired of it. but now in bfa i feel really bored with it. I used to raid 4 hours a day like progressing on ashvane after the 4 hours i feel tired and the physical work i do is not worth it doing same damage or less than warlocks, shadow priests and DH while being physical hurt is not fun so i play arms and chill even if they put me on waiting group, playing fury is exhausting!

fury feels way to spammy… so sad
also I don’t think recklesness is a nice feeling burst abillity imo

aren’t they reducing the haste bonus when enraged? shouldn’t that help a bit with the spammy feeling of fury?

also how is haste weighted for fury against other stats? maybe focusing more on crit and mastery as opposed to haste could alleviate the spamminess a bit?

Right now Haste is one of the best secondary until you giét 20% after which the value plummets down to it being the second worst secondary.

btw, i thought you might want to know that I now have the full heroic appearance set for ny’alotha as a dreadnaught warrior so, clearly dreadnaught IS more than viable, i have effectively done all the relevant content at this point without having to touch test of might or anger management.

I have no idea how this has anything to do with AM+3*ToM being objectively better than Dreadnought?

It doesn’t matter wether it is or is not, all that matters is that it works, if someone wants to take the game too far then that is on them, the average person will find that they will lose performance if they try to copy that as they fail to grasp how much they must sellout in order to perform in such manners.

However, the fact still remains that AM/test of might is the worst spec in M+ and visions.
