Warrior fiery weapon hotfix

I mean, I want other bugs to be fixed as much as you do, I’m sure you get that from our previous discussions.

But this had to be fixed cause of the broader ramifications, you just can’t be surprised when it was.

I believe they cant accept low level cheap enchant can surpass current most expensive enchant and see it as exploit.

I don’t think they care a damned about that, but there are a lot of low level spell proc items that would suddenly be bis.

I’m not surprised at all. I was expecting a fix, and anybody who wasted thousands of gold on the blue gloves isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
They just proved once again that they can, if they so wish, fix stuff rather quickly. It just sends a message that for all other bugs they’re like, yeah we can fix those, but we don’t really care cause these bugs don’t offer anybody any bonusses.

How fast would heirlooms be fixed if instead of giving no stats, they gave us double the stats?

Certainly, you’ll find no disagreement here.

Tell me please.

They found out you were not close enough to ret paladins in dmg

Why aren’t you using berserking?

Bots, gold buyers to get the mats, people being forced to grind grey mobs for hours on end, toxicity over who gets to tag a grey mob and so on and so forth.

There’s literally nothing good coming outta leaving this in the game.

Because for a full day fiery was better.

Actually not a lot, there are pretty much only the gloves and the enchants that are obtainable right now that would be worth it. There is also an unobtainable neck from Lord Kazzak which would probably have been banned on warcraftlogs and not used either way.

There is a lot of weapons that can proc it but then you lose out on damage since the talent is based on the average weapon damage.

It wouldn’t cause that much of a demand, in fact it would lessen the demand on current expansion materials making it easier for people to farm what they need. But that is all besides the main point.

I agree that it doesn’t fit the class fantasy, but when did we start caring about that again? Like I said in my main post a fun part of this already “solved” game is finding new things to work with and that becomes a problem if they would shut every new avenue down. When they said #somechanges this is what I suspected would come but what they implied was quality of life changes and bug fixes, this is hardly one of those.

Another problem with this is their consistency. We’ve had DKs and rogues using lower level items to gain way more DPS than this would ever give us (which I have absolutely no problem with, in fact I love it) but still this was instantly removed?

The last thing they brought up was about new players would find it unintuitive, sure but with how we play this game today is that really a problem? People follow their BIS guides to a tee and there is so much more information going around now compared to back in the day so I doubt they would have much trouble.

Edit: Sorry about the wall of text

I don’t disagree with their lack of consistency in fixing bugs whatsoever, but I’m not gonna say this didn’t need fixing and fairly fast.

That it introduced at least 2 new bugs to do so (breaking a cvar that added class colors to chats and removing the forge + anvil in Wintergrasp Keep) just speaks further to their utter ineptitude at anything they do.

While we don’t agree with each other about the fiery stuff, at least we can agree on their ineptitude haha

Also, you can actually fix the colors. Go to your chat settings (right-click the chat window) and check all the “Show Class Color”. Had to do it myself earlier.

I know, I’ve posted that solution a couple times on the forums already.

Was a headscratcher while sipping my morning coffee tho

Id rather be last in 99 percentile parses than play the game like some sort of clown in spell power gear.

Man up and eat your bad parses, weakness is only temporary, rage is permanent.

We can all agree that it’s really something that all these huge widely spoken about bugs have existed since beta and nothing is done, while Fiery weapon is nerfed within 24hours of it becoming widespread knowledge.

I’m glad it’s fixed, it was stupid, but if they can fix that so extremely fast then what the hell is going on with this game development? Lots of things in the game flat out don’t work.

You guys don’t understand. There are so many bugs right now that Blizz has plans to fix 25% of them by the time LK 25 HC is dead so during that phase Fury war is OP in pve and they are thinking ahead LOL
