Warrior fiery weapon hotfix

Hi Blizzard.

Could you give us a reason for why you would hotfix the Fiery Weapon enchant and Fiery Plate Gauntlets so they don’t add to the Deep Wounds crit? We were dead last in the damage meters and us using this wouldn’t even take us over to the top half of damage done.

One of the fun parts to this game is being able to find fun interactions with talents and items which can perform well, why are you so adamant on removing these? I would honestly rather you go back to the #nochanges movement than you trying to change things that are fun.

I hope this gets reverted so we can go back to the bottom half of the damage meters rather than last

So its fixed now or what?

Yes, getting a crit with either won’t give you any deep wounds. Tested it myself about 30m ago.

Blizz priorities sheesh…hire more ticket answering peons! mine is over two weeks

They did that?! Gee. This (indie) company is unbelievable

It’s a good fix, there was nothing remotely WOTLK accurate about Fury Warriors using old spell proc items and Fiery weapon enchants. Warriors eventually become extremely strong, even more so than they did in TBC.

They do suck right now, and that’s a symptom of 3.3.5 class balance, but it’s temporary, we don’t need no gimmicky dumb crap to just scramble for an extra 1-2% dps.

So ur saying, don’t use fiery but mongoose instead?

Not sure what you’re getting at but sure you can use Mongoose if you want a cheaper option than Berserking. Berserking is better than Mongoose.

It was hotfixed so that when ICC finaly hit Warrior insted of beeing SS++ class will be just SS+ class

Fury becomes top dmg in last phase!

Are you serious? Lol.

amazing how fast blizz fix this… warr are total sh*t right now, nowhere near top dps but still blizz decide to focus on these things… I also agree, things like this is what can make wow fun, experimenting with items and abilities to discover new things is what gives real life to the game…

If you don’t understand why a 4 damage guaranteed proc translating into 43% weapon damage needed a fast fix I just don’t know what to tell you.

A proc (aka a crit) translating into 48% weapon dmg (aka deep wounds). Working as intended if you read the deep wounds tooltip, any crit.
Was it a priority to fix? No. They got like 50 extra DPS in P1?
Blizzard priorities, lmfao, hilarious, and saddening at the same time.
Not that warrior dps really matters in P1 with or without fiery weapon. But that is exactly blizzards priority, stuff that doesn’t matter or that nobody asks for.

Because leaving this crap in had broader reaching consequences than just “some warrs did 50 dps more”.

I guess 50 more DPS is more gamebreaking than all the other bugs still left in the game. I’m not arguing it shouldn’t have been fixed. I’m arguing that their priorities suck.

Some level 50ish quest reward pattern suddenly selling for 4k gold has some impact as well.

Whatever people want to spend on items is their business.

You don’t understand the broader impact of random silithus drops suddenly spiking in price has?

I don’t understand your point no, all I understand is my point, which is Blizzard once again failed the community (they do on a daily basis let’s be honest). They have got their priorities mixed up, and seems like they only want to fix things that can give us a little bit of benefit or fun.
