I started playing in OG tbc, and was already in college by then, so the hyperbole is a bit hyperboled itself.
If you had indeed played for that long you WOULD know that armor type makes a huge difference when it comes to physical damage.
About your point that mage does more damage, yes, and yet warlocks have multiple ways of healing themselves.
I definitely agree with you that classes should be balanced, and I also agree that at the moment they definitely are not.
I just find it funny that a player playing the most OP class in this bracket is complaining about beating beat. And yes, regardless of balance, some classes will still have an edge against others. Their kits would have to be the exact same ones for that not to happen, and if that were the case, then there wouldnât be 9 different classes in Classic, but rather just the one single class everyone would play.
you know whatâs funny? that we argue with each other for nothing, we as people have different tastes, different opinions, some of them are even exaggeratedly stu.pid but⌠that`s the way it is , I think it is time to quit , at least it brought me a moment of nostalgia for a little while.

Now as for the video itself, yes, you are right. It does seem to be a combo of some degen runes at play. I never experienced this playing with my warrior probably because I purge/interrupt the ever living day out of everything.
Mages to be honest were always one of the most one sided fights for warriors of equal gear/skill. Just not while standing stillâŚ
With that said warriors at 40 do get some things that should help, main thing that should help is Mortal Strike in this case. They should have issues healing through your damage then.
I get this is probably not what you want to hear but warrior still remains at heart a class that does best with friends and not solo. If you check the data-mined stuff warriors do get some strong runes, being able to overpower every 6 seconds, free instant slam procs and a fairly significant heal is a lot more than they had in Vanilla.

I hate to admit it, but I do play warrior and I know it well enough to say that it gives back what you put into it.
It would spare many of your tears and your teamâs if you did.
Meeles obviously. Also, if you donât disarm, you canât really cry about paladins. Divine Storm hit for a chunky amount, and youâll have to sacrifice rage anyways since Blessing of Freedom hard counters any strat to deal with them if they bubble.
Nor can you complain about it if you get wing clipped. In fact, if you donât charge a hunter after the daze, you HAVE to charge immediately into a disarm.
Rogues would be even easier for you to combat if you just disarmed. Then demo shout and rend/DW for vanish. Kite them with hamstring and hit them with overpowers between kiting.
If you want an easy melee class, particularly in our current level bracket, make a ret pally.
Could you imagine that some people find it enjoyable to play around 80 rage, because it makes for a more interactive play style?

Trying to 1v1 casters is borderline stupid if you donât. Good luck surviving a warlock if you donât charge and stun their fear, or fail to bash arcane spells and use charge to clear frost nova. With a priest your job is more to distract and make them burn mana/CDs rather than killing them, anyways.
Perhaps you can sit inside a frost nova and throw some ninja stars on their mana shield? Youâd cosplay quite nicely as Broken Tooth with that juicy spell pushback.

I mean ya u can disarm pala, but what u do after? At the point u disarm pala u are at low 10-35 percent hp and pala is full hp with lay and sield. Wht next ? Fear ? Ok u take at best half his hp,if u start the battle with 100 rage of curse, and hten after fear u die. I just described the best scenario for war vs pala. and now pala get 2 sustain heals and war gets an ability with slam proc that dosent apply on mortal stike =)))) taht is insane
