I’m going to create either a human paladin or a warrior - I have played both to some extent before, but never max level so never tried the end game content with either. I don’t mind going through the leveling experience with either, but I was wondering which one is more viable DPS option at max level both for PvP and PvE as a solo player?
Paladin… you can pull how many you want if you have cd’s up and you’re basically immortal with all the healing you have.
You can solo probably all rares in ZM… the 3 sand ones and Hirukon are impossible to solo because players are always around and interfere. :))
Warrior is more fun if you have a healer behind you.
If not Paladin is a safer bet for you. You also need to think about what warrior brings to the group and what Paladin brings.
With Paladin, you bring a lot of off healing and very strong off healing for the group, sure it will cost you your DPS but still you bring that. You also bring the “oh yikes” heal aka Lay of Hands, which can save tank or heal or anyone else. You can also cheese lot of tacts with BOP for yourself or healer or anyone else (don’t bop tank ) And let’s not forget about your dispel of poisons and also Blessing of sacrifice to help the tank a bit and Freedom as well which can get you or anyone in the party from a tricky spot.
The utility Paladin brings is just too much to ignore. Not even talking about the fact that you can also play Tank and Heal on the same char, both in an excellent spot. So going warr, the sure warrior is more “fun” dps-wise because of the short CDs but virtually brings nothing other than shout and stun. (Talk about boring).
Blood elves paladin are the only possible combo (if you use DR skin) to be an undead paladin:
but in terms of fun
i think warrior wins,
i did some content and i found having more fun with it than with pally
With pally i was slow damage and did less than a warrior.
but i say: try the classes and then think witch is more fun to you.
and yes, in m+ prot war and prot pally are nothing against bear with the right leggo
