Warrior Rune Feedback
This feedback isn’t about damage numbers; warriors are fine, or even great, depending on the armor values that will be used going forward. This is about the enjoyment and interest levels of our runes. I’m a veteran warrior player with 19 years of experience, and I’m devastated by how the class plays now in SoD. I’m not opposed to changes—in fact, I welcome them. I’ve dreamed of a Classic+ version for at least 10 years. First off, I think you’ve added too many rune slots, leaving little room for meaningful choices. The runes really need to be rearranged, with damage in certain slots and utility in others, and defenses placed separately to allow for strategic selection.
Hands

Devastated: This one is actually fine, good job.

Endless Rage: Boring. Let’s remake it into something else.

Quick Strike: Fine.

Single Minded Fury: The movement speed part is fun. It could have helped dual wielding a bit more in the early game if it provided some hit rating instead of damage.

Victory Rush: Should be usable after all kills. Since it has a cooldown, it wouldn’t be overpowered, even when killing low-level enemies.
Chest

Blood Frenzy: Should have given Rend scaling damage based on weapon damage. Now, it’s just useless.

Flagellation: This is incredibly powerful but clunky to use, as it’s based on two different abilities meant for different purposes. It also doesn’t provide visual feedback. REMAKE THIS INTO AVATAR, active for 20 seconds after using Blood Rage, if it can’t be its own thing.

Raging Blow: Very limiting on when it can be used. A more useful Raging Blow would have a cooldown and only be usable when above, let’s say, 60 rage.

Warbringer: Way too good. Having all those mobility options without sharing cooldowns is too powerful, especially as it also breaks CC. Instead, make it shorten the cooldown of Charge to 8-10 seconds, allowing Charge to break CC and be used in combat and in any stance.
Legs

Consumed by Rage: This ability really makes you focus on the rage bar instead of the game, and juggling above and under 80 rage to keep the buff up is not fun at all. REMAKE THIS INTO BLADESTORM.

Frenzied Assault: It’s fine, but could it be more boring? It would be more fun if there was a 5% chance of getting an extra attack after an attack, like a mini Windfury.

Furious Thunder: It’s good to be able to use Thunder Clap in a defensive stance, but not good enough. REMAKE INTO SHOCKWAVE and make it usable in all stances.
Feet

Enraged Regeneration: Fine.

Gladiator Stance: This might be good for deep Protection Warriors who want to deal some damage, but we’re getting dual spec now, so it’s a bonus rune, whatever.

Intervene: Fine, but it could have been built into Charge. We don’t need more buttons to press.

Rallying Cry: Really good raid cooldown.
Waist

Blood Surge: Fine, nice to see Slam usable.

Focused Rage: Boring, remake. REMAKE TO IMPROVED REVENGE the one that hits 2 targets and deals lots of damage.

Precise Timing: Fine, nice to see Slam usable again.
Head

Shield Mastery: Not good enough. Let this make your Shield Slam scale with your total armor instead. That’s all deep Protection needs, and you know it.

Taste for Blood: Good if you have Tactical Mastery, otherwise it’s useless. REMAKE TO SUDDEN DEATH would be 10 times better, as Execute can be used in both Battle and Berserker stances.

Vigilance: It’s fine, but if it also transferred 20% of damage to the tank, it would be useful in PvP.
Wrist

Rampage: Fine.

Sword and Board: Fine, IF scaling issues on Shield Slam are fixed.

Wrecking Crew: Fine.
The runes obviously need to be rearranged. The new ones—Shockwave, Avatar, and Bladestorm—should all be in the same slot. Improved Revenge fits well with the Slam runes. Rallying Cry, Victory Rush, and Enraged Regeneration should obviously also share the same slot.
PS: About Commanding Shout
Come on, Blizzard! Other classes received quality of life improvements, but for warriors, it feels like we got the opposite. Please, either build Commanding Shout into Battle Shout or remove the rage cost of both Commanding and Battle Shouts. Alternatively, making their effects last longer would be a significant improvement.
