At this point I am exalted with wsg and rank capped rank 3, so the marks are completly useless to me. I think being able to trade my marks for some gold sounds reasonable. Given people charge 8g for an wc boost, getting something small like 20s pre 3 marks doesn’t sound game braking. And before some defenders of the ways of the past pop up, i think it is the first time that honor is completly useless, especially in the “endgame”.
Not a bad idea…however I think it would further increase buying gold and p2w scenario in this game.
People are avoiding actual pvp by Ashenvale and by premading vs pugs… now u want to create another way to reach max pvp rewards without ever pvping and just paying rather than playing the game? No thanks
By having inflation, you mean?
I see how this exchange is a tiny increase to the gold pool, but it’s more of a consolation price, given the amount. 20s per 3, it’s roughly 13 silver per WSG - if my intention is to farm gold, there are way better options.
Alternatively, if prices are too high due to lacking supply, satchels with random resources could also be useful.
Either way it makes some sense, as it allows PvP focused players to purchase things even once they’re at currency cap.
I feel like you turned his idea around. Paevo wants to trade PvP reward to gold (or silver, rather).
By now I suspect it’s the actual intent.
Hinting at the social spirit of classic, oppose dungeon and raid finder, then casually move on to funnel everyone to GDKP, paying an invitation fee, and set prerequisites which are best met with boosting, all the while making fun of those who aren’t rich by 25.
It’s business for everyone involved.
