Because R Druid was doing great in DF it seems it was nerfed extremely hard. This season it is the weakest healer in PvP while being the best in PvE. Maybe it’s time to unnerf some of the abilities.
No, they haven’t been nerfed hard enough. Cyclone should have a CD or share DR with rake and sap.
Check the ptr midnight talent calculator it looks like they let go of gigatree and bring back df s1 pre-rework vibes with them bloom apex talents :>

Good to hear. I might heal too. R Druid is my favourite healer - I have to admit it was great in DF - maybe a bit overtuned overall but it has rough time in TWW.
Its only weak because of dampening. Outside of dampening its probably the most immortal healer.
Dampening is a curse upon this game and needs to get removed. Back in the days you didn’t need dampening for the game to be balanced. Sure, it needs to exist to prevent 10+ minute matches, but there’s no reason for it to exist otherwise
Sure, with it’s lowest throughput amont all healers… R Druid currently is horrible. I don’t know what are you smoking.

Rofl cyclone spell is bane of noob, actualy worst spell noob can suffer, and most effective, yet almost useless when players know to play.
Yes they was, and the decision to spread druids dmg all across the druid tree were also horrible decision with talent tree rework.
They nerfed both physical and magical dmg 25% and put these talent choises for either physical or magical dmg as 25% bonus so it’s just nerf either way cause cant pick both of them. And top of that spread other spells as separate like moonfire 10% and bite 8% etc, in practise nobody is able to even pick any of them so they just got massive nerf on dmg and rdruid were never aggro healer in first place so its just nonsensical nerf in general.
Now its healing is also bad, its likely worst healer all expansion it seems. Just stupid design choises and changes constantly on the game. I remember the announcement even said something about nerfing healers dmg, well looking at vw disc now… Yeah. Funny fw monks or vw discs dmg were not problem then but dear god must nerf rdruid’s dmg asap at all cost if theres somebody somewhere able to do 400k dps somehow as rdruid like playing meme build in 2s for it. Makes so much sense.

Thankfully they’re getting a revamp in Midnight with the consolidation of our HoTs will make a huge difference imo. (Something I’ve been asking for since forever). Glad they’re finally listening to the things I’ve been suggesting.
Having to spend like 5 GCDs just to get a normal amount of throughput is BS, and feels woeful. Alpha druid feels far better than retail currently from the limited testing I’ve done. So fingers crossed.
