My PC’s ancient at this point [2013], was interested with Geforce NOW with the official announcement with Battle.net support… But then it doesn’t support add-ons… interest flat lined right there.
“(Yet!)” isn’t reassuring… could be years before it happens, if at all.
And why was “no addons” so surprising? You are cloudstreaming from another computer, how would you put addons in there?
Nvidia could update their software to save stuff like addons on the client’s end.
With your gameplay being session based through Geforce Now it would make no sense for Nvidia to do this.
Each time your game session ends it reverts back to the standard game files iirc, that means that the ability to install addons needs to be within the client itself (not just a folder) and even if Blizzard did that (they won’t) you would have to reinstall and setup the addons on each gaming session.
Perhaps this little detail will finally motivate Blizzard to get some proper resources into making the UI actually work instead of very slowly changing it piecemeal to make it even more inconsistent than it already was.
2013 pc is more then enough to play any blizzard game. Just dont turn on ultra settings
Not to mention the sheer number of add-ons and combinations of them that are possible, i can understand Nvidia not wanting to get into that mess…
That being said, without add-ons, the WoW UI is indeed severely outdated and clumsy.
Couldn’t even get it to work… kept giving me “Can’t connect to EU West” in Battle.net Launcher, wanted to at least do Remix with it. 
i wonder if they will allow addons on Xbox pass if that ever gets released.
though, why do you need these third-party apps to play wow?
Because I hate the default UI, and the game lacks numerous QoL stuff addons provide.
I already play wihtout addons, besides big debuff when i do solo shuffle.
But I could survive without them my goal is to get to 1.6 rating and I’m at 1453 at the moment.
oh no I didn´t mean the addons like that. I meant tthird party apps like Geforce and any other platforms that might have WoW in the future.
While at work of course, hours of downtime during the night shift [20:30 - 08:00] inbetween flights.
Ooo that’s smart! maybe cloud gaming is good after all.
World of portals that was SL must be fun for you. 4 or 5 portals in a row. The loading time must be crazy.
