I want to play on the The Burning Crusade Anniversary Server Spineshatter on the Horde side together with my friends. However, I have not been able to create a character for the past two days.
To even reach the character creation screen, I am forced to activate a subscription. When I purchase a subscription and try to create a character, I am then forced to create an Alliance character instead. If I am not able to play on the Horde side, why am I required to pay?
Since I have been unable to access the game and play for the days I paid for, I am requesting a refund for the days I could not log in and play.

Good luck with your refund request though i expect it to be denied. Your reasons are poor. The subscription pays for access to the game which has been provided to you. You’ve got Classic, Mists and Retail all available to you. That also includes TBC but your refusal to want to play anything other than Horde is the only barrier to entry. The realms integrity is more important than a few angry people who came to the party at the last minute without doing any research. The faction balance lock has existed since the realms first launched back in 2024.

It’s interesting that you complain about toxic people and then go on to write this nonsense. If you have a problem with PvP, you can go cry on an RP server. I didn’t open this thread so unpaid Blizzard lawyers could comment. I want the issue to be seen by the authorities.

This forum is created for players to communicate. If you want to contact the Blizzard support, you should do that, or at least choose the support forum.
Well, I can confirm that being inside the game is also a waste of time and money. There are so many people that quest items are constantly camped, there’s a war over who gets the first hit on a mob, and I’m not talking only about the early levels. This happens at any zone. It feels like they’ve reduced the number of layers to push people into wasting their time and eventually opting to buy a level 58 boost. Honestly, without playing, that’s what you’ve gained. Personally, I’m not touching the game again for at least one or two weeks.
No offense but ..c’mon!! You came in the last second to even create a character whereas your friends already played?
Meh! Blizzard announced the stance on this matter long ago. They will close and open character creation to protect the balance on Anniversary servers.
It was known and its on you ..

Unfortunately for yourself and others that subscription you are paying is for retail Wow - Classic is a free added bonus. It states this in the ToS that you accepted.
