I know the Exp gain is for ppl lvling… but why at lvl 70 are we receiving MORE xp? It doesn’t convert to alts and wouldn’t it be better that after 70 we gather stats/stam instead? It feels so weird to keep gaining huge amounts of exp for absolutely 0 reason.

You only get XP Threads from LFR, they are fixed.
You dont get any XP Threads from regular Thread sources.
When did this fix come into force? I was doing regular content yesterday (no LFR) and have found my cloak XP gains go from ~450% to 500%. Sure, the gains are not as huge as they were before but unless the fix has been deployed today, then no, I have still been getting XP gains on my main…
Then it might be your Character that is Buggy.
Since the beginning at around level 65, XP Threads would stop Dropping. From 65-70, only Normal RaidBosses would Drop XP Threads as guranteed loot, and from 70 onwards they would also stop dropping XP threads.
The LFR Completion Threads are relativly new though, and awarded even at max level.
I´m sitting comfortably at 198%XP Boost.
