Water Elemental still German despite Language Switch

When I started out with WoW a bit over year ago, I originally played in German, however for the sake of easier communication I quickly switched everything over to English.
All in all, it was a very smooth transition, except for my Water Elemental still being called “Wasserelementar” instead of “Water Elemental”.
[While it is cute in its own right, to seemingly have the same Elemental since the first day, I would prefer for it to (finally) switch over to English as well, since it does bug me a bit.]

Tried Glyphing and removing the Glyph, as well as having the elemental die, but all to no avail. When looking online I found some other players having experienced similar issues in the past but I’ve never seen a solution that’s worked for anyone, so far. Appreciate help!

That’s kind of funny. Have you tried to pick up “Lone Winter” talent (the one which removes water elemental) and then switching out of it?

Yea, that hasn’t worked out for me either unfortunately.
