Has anyone noticed that with the max liquid detail on that there’s graphical glitching with the surface of the water showing then the underneath of the water showing even when standing in the same place, also the animation for your character being idle in the water slows down to about 10 FPS.
Going down from High Quality Liquid to Good Quality Liquid seems to fix this issue which leads me to believe there’s an issue with full reflection vs screen based reflection in this pre-patch. I first noticed this at Lake Mennar in Azshara and while its not as bad in other area’s there’s certainly a noticable flickering effect on water surfaces at max liquid detail which almost looks like the animation is skipping
It’s probably the same glitch everyone is talking about
Anyway you can uncheck Multithreaded Rendering as work around to get rid of the issue, it pops up when any kind of 3D model is on screen, this can even be during a dialog for example when a NPC talks, alternatively you can disable these 3D models via addons for example.

Disabling RT helps but the flickering may still happen at a reduced frequency.
