spotted this crossbow in a dungeon tonight. mm hunter ilvl 445. cant find any info on it other than ilvl 280.
Accoding to Wowhead it can be obtained in the Kul Tiras Weapons Cache and I’m pretty sure the cache scales up to ilvl 445. The ilvl of the cachec depend on your character’s ilvl (435+) but many people have said that it’s random. Alts with similar ilvls have received different ilvl rewards.
The Speargun is a weapon you can obtain from world quests completed in Kul’Tiras. I believe it’s random what WQ can reward this item/cache.
It’s available to both Alliance as well as Horde characters. Basically, keep an eye out for all WQs you get in Kul’Tiras and eventually it’ll pop up.
I got the Speargun on this hunter quite a while back after having completed a WQ in…think it was Tiragarde Sound. Although it did not come from a weapons cache, but was a direct reward from the quest itself so…maybe it can come from different sources? I recall it having an ilvl of 380+ but a bit hazy on that as it’s been a while since it dropped for me.
I’ve actually been using that Xbow as a weapon mog ever since I went Vulpera with this Hunter. That look combined with the rest of my mog just fits very well together(especially on this race).
It’s scaled very well for this race and fits both when held/fired as well as when it’s placed upon the back.
